Disaster Contents Technician

Paul Davis Restoration is looking for a Restoration Contents Technician to join our team. The Restoration Contents Technician is responsible for managing the packaging, cleaning, restoration, and storage of personal property damaged by fire, water, or other disasters. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and time-management skills and experience in the restoration industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pack-out and pack-back of contents from disaster-affected areas

• Provide documentation and detailed inventory of contents

• Carefully transport and store contents in a secure location

• Create work orders and supervise the cleaning and restoration process

• Inspect contents and ensure quality control standards are met

• Utilize software for tracking inventory and job progress

• Communicate effectively with customers, project managers and team members

• Use of specialized equipment for content restoration

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area

• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, clean driving record

• At least 2 years of experience in contents restoration (preferred)

• IICRC certifications preferred (Preferred: Water Damage Restoration Technician, Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician, etc.)

• Experience with contents restoration software (Preferred)

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Team player with a positive attitude

Compensation:

$16-$24/hour determined on experience

40 hours/week
