This position will have remote and hybrid workplace options available but will still be required to report to the listed address at the discretion of the supervisor and based on business need. This position will be required to report to the office listed 2 days per week.

Description of Job
The salary for this position is (This salary range is based on the July 1 compensation plan for new hires):
$27.74 - $40.50 Hourly
$2,219.54 - $3,240.00 Biweekly
$4,809.00 - $7,020.00 Monthly
$57,708.00 - $84,240.00 Annually
This work unit exists to deliver the full range of labor exchange services to the communities it serves, including recruiting and placement services and labor market information. This unit further exists to coordinate with the Wagner Peyser Staff, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Staff, Workforce Center Business Services Teams, and other service providers to promote the benefits of hiring Veterans and conduct outreach that benefits Veterans being case managed by Veteran Staff in their assigned workforce regions in accordance with (IAW) US Code 10, Title 38, Chapter 41.
This position exists to administer all labor exchange functions for the assigned workforce region; provide individual job search skills development and case management to disabled and other identified target groups of veterans; provide labor market information, interview veteran applicants and prospective employers; make enhanced referral efforts on behalf of qualified veteran applicants, provides follow-up services to veterans receiving both intensive and case management services and performs outreach to veterans in accordance with (IAW) US Code 10, Title 38, Chapter 41.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Only:
Five (5) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position and must be a veteran with a Veteran Administration Service-Connected Disability Rating. Your experience must be clearly documented on the application.

Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to five (5) years and must be a veteran with a Veteran Administration Service-Connected Disability Rating. Your experience must be clearly documented on the application.
Preferred Qualifications:
Social Work/employment counseling of homeless, low-income, ex-offender populations (for example)
Experience facilitating training or employment workshops
Case management experience
Outreach experience to employers
Outreach experience to support agencies (TANF, homeless shelters, food banks, Voc Rehab, VA medical and veteran's centers, military installations, etc.)
Experience working with a diverse population from a variety of different ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds
Required Competencies:
Must have excellent customer service skills and experience
Should be able to relate to people from a variety of different socio-economic populations
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Be able to communicate effectively in writing (emails, case notes) and verbally

While a salary range is posted for this position, an eventual salary offer is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis, which considers multiple factors including but not limited to education and experience compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work.
