Primary Responsibilities and Expected Results:
Forecasting and Reporting
Lead the monthly and quarterly forecast process.
Complete the monthly and quarterly budget vs. actuals analysis and ensure accountability across the company (i.e., marketing, engineering, sales, etc.).
Ensure effective financial P/L management and delivery of accurate, timely and complete financial information to executives and Board of Directors.
Lead weekly pacing and executive KPI reporting
Financial Planning and Analysis
Lead Annual Operating Plan and budget
Drive operating improvements by identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
Create reports and other analytical tools that aid management decision making, track key KPIs, provide compelling insight to the business and result in operational improvements.
Conduct Ad hoc analysis as needed
Manage team of 2 finance professionals
Seeking the following profile:
Experience at a venture-backed technology company with executive-level responsibility for financial planning and analysis. Experience with SaaS or communications software is a plus.
Sound knowledge and understanding of GAAP. Understanding of financial statement (P&L, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows)
Ability to implement process improvement initiatives within a growth environment.
Demonstrated ability to build strong, productive working relationships across teams
Prior experience managing and effectively developing finance professionals/team
Adept at driving business insights, actions and accountability across departments with a customer service attitude.
Diligent with an eye for detail, striving for accuracy and operational excellence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7 - 10 years of financial leadership experience.
BA/BS in Finance or Related Fields
MBA or CPA degree, a plus
