The Director, Corporate Audit Services (CAS), Global IT is responsible for directing the development and execution of the global annual IT audit plan by coordinating various reviews, including Internal Control, Continuous Control, Pre-implementation and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 throughout the world. Specific responsibilities for this role include the following:

  • Provide strategic leadership, to the Global IT organization, by providing guidance and insights that effectively navigate enterprise risk

  • Develops and maintains strong partnerships with affiliate and Corporate management, as well as with the external auditors, demonstrating the ability to effectively influence senior leadership.

  • Supervising the overall planning, execution and reporting of value-added audit and functional/operational/compliance reviews designed to address management concerns and drive business solutions across the Global IT function.

  • Provide leadership, support, and managerial oversight to effectively lead and motivate the IT audit team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster a high-performing, innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.

  • This position is required to interact independently with all levels of management throughout the enterprise on a regular basis and convey routine and complex audit and control processes, findings and recommendations in such a way as to influence actionable remediation plans to improve control performance and business strategy/results.

  • This individual will lead effectively through change, ambiguity and complexity. This individual is expected to stay abreast of current business and industry trends and demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

  • Identify best practices and promote their adoption throughout Conduent.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required. An advanced degree (MBA or MS) and coursework in Finance, Accounting, or IT is preferred.

  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CIA, CMA. CISA, CFE) is preferred.

  • A minimum of 12 years of related financial, accounting or IT experience is required.

  • Prior Experience in Internal Audit or Public Accounting is preferred.

  • Experience interacting and influencing all levels of management is required.

  • Prior experience working with auditing or GRC platform is preferred.

  • Prior Experience effectively leading a large team through periods of change, ambiguity and complexity is required. Leading a Global IT internal audit team and integrating that team with business operations and the IT function is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills is required.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills is required.

  • This position requires up to 30% of domestic and international travel.

  • This position will likely be located in Raleigh, NC.

Locations: Florham Park, NJ; Lexington, KY or Sandy, UT Job Summary The position is responsible for independently assisting in planning, preparing for, and reviewing company compliance with HITRUST Common Security Framework. Duties will also consist of providing consulting services to Conduent businesses and assisting in performing readiness assessments of HITRUST for various company operations. This position MAY also be responsible for independently assisting audit management in performing IT operational and technical assessments as needed. Locations: Florham Park, NJ; Lexington, KY or Sandy, UT Job Responsibilities * Assists in the planning, preparation, and reviewing of company compliance with HITRUST reporting audit standards * Performs readiness assessments of certain company operations in preparation for HITRUST engagements with minimal guidance and direction from audit management * Exercises professional judgment to determine materiality of findings and the adequacy of IT and business operations for effectiveness and efficiency. Recommend corrective action to improve operations * Assists company operations in preparing for initial and on-going HITRUST engagements, including identifying risks, controls and monitoring activities * Simultaneously manage/coordinate multiple HITRUST engagements with business and external audit firms * Assists in tracking external audit fees and expenses to ensure compliance with expectations * Maintains a working knowledge of general IT control processes primarily in the network and client-server environments * Familiar with operational and business process control environments * Obtains and analyzes data and results to provide an objective, informed opinion on the achievement of audit objectives in various company operations * Assists in performing HITRUST and other Third Party Assurance topics to various company operations * Assists in providing training on HITRUST and other Third Party Assurance topics to company operations * Communicates assessment results and prepare formal written audit reports in accordance with department guidelines and discuss findings with affected management. Participate in and/or lead exit conferences * Performs post-audit reviews to determine compliance with audit recommendations * Performs special projects as assigned by management. * Maintains knowledge of current technology and IT auditing practices through continuing professional education. * Performs other duties as assigned Essential Skills/Knowledge * A minimum of 3 years' audit experience is required * Previous HITRUST experience strongly preferred * Project management skills will be needed Travel 25% to 30% may be required Professional Certification Certified CSF Practitioner (CCSFP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred Education A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or equivalent, is required.
