The Role

Want to join a team that helps women make their money work harder for them every day? Our Women Talk Money team is looking for an experienced script writer and creative thinker who is ready to support our community of women with honest conversations about saving and spending, retirement planning, investing, careers, and more. You'll help design and write content for year-round webinars, special events and other experiences that bring women-specific insights to life and help our audience take their next best step toward their financial goals. You'll also cover ways that women can navigate life events like marriage, job change, and growing families as well as curveballs like divorce and illness.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Proven experience in journalism, communications, and/or scriptwriting (5-10 years min)

  • Strong writing skills and storytelling experience

  • Experience writing about personal finance topics

  • Understanding of Fidelity's financial products and services

  • Ability to bring together the appropriate talent and make connections between guidance, products, and solutions to craft event content that brings financial topics to life for women

  • Ability to entertain and inspire while educating-transforming complex and sometimes dry topics into clear, interesting, and compelling stories for different audiences

  • Passion for supporting women and demystifying investing and personal finance

  • Experience working with and prepping executive/high profile talent for live events

  • Comfortable with tight, sometimes shifting deadlines for communications and events that are crucial in building our women's community

  • Ability to thrive and collaborate with a cross-functional team

  • Experience focused on women and diversity and inclusion preferred

  • Ability to make progress in environments where there are many guardrails, such as legal, compliance, and brand

The Team

The role is part of the Fidelity Content Thought Leadership team and will support the Women & Engagement Product Area, which is dedicated to helping women get more hands on with their money, make informed and confident financial choices, and take their next best step to ensuring their money is working harder for their goals.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$169,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
