As an Area Sales Director for the Western region, you will be responsible for achieving the region's sales goals within defined timeframe's and parameters and directing the activities of our sales force in line with strategies and plans that are consistent with the organization's overall mission and in line with budgeted expectations. In addition, you will lead area-wide team development, conduct quarterly business reviews ensure implementation of all Nobel Biocare products, and assess performance and measure responsibility for Regional Managers.


  • Responsible for a geographic territory that is high producing

  • High focus on customer profitability

  • Direct people responsibility; maintain visibility with entire team (recognition at representative level) and Talent development

  • Work/collaborate with other functions of company (BU)

  • Manage large accounts (VIP)

  • Facilitate and own key opinion leader (KOL) relationships

  • Participate in all major trade shows

  • Tailor the messaging around execution strategy

  • Fiscal responsibility

  • Handles expense budget

  • Extensive travel including some nights and weekends


  • A minimum of 6 out of 8 years of sales achievement (100%/quota) with Nobel Biocare

  • Needs to have demonstrated leadership capabilities plus have experience managing people

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required

  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Apple Keynote, etc.)

  • Advanced presentation skills, communications and influencing skills, demonstrated through all forms of communication.

  • Strong Salesforce experience

  • Knowledge of restorative and surgical implant dentistry

  • Strong technical/clinical knowledge

  • Ability to forecast, budget, and administrate execution

  • Advanced analytical and negotiation skills


  • Market expertise (internal/external)

  • Advanced acumen on business principles (e.g., business plan, PDP, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Digital experience

  • Proficient in selection and hiring within the interview process; performance management; and possess strong coaching/teaching skills
