Job Title: Director / Vice President Marketing
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Location: New York, NY (Outpatient Setting)
The Director/VP of Marketing will be responsible for developing, leading and executing our marketing communication strategy. This role will be instrumental in shaping the image of MOTION as a leader in physical, occupational and speech therapy. The Director/VP of Marketing will construct a detailed marketing strategy (traditional and digital) to reach the target audiences including consumers and physicians at the national and local levels. This individual will be instrumental in building awareness of the MOTION brand, ensuring patient engagement and converting prospects into leads. This position will oversee all market research/analytics as well as communications including PR, employee, and partner facing communications, web, social media, training, print and events.
Lead and direct team of internal and external marketers responsible for the delivery of marketing and communications strategies, selecting tools for targets and monitoring success of platforms including web, digital, print, and outreach.
Ensure consistency and integrity of the MOTION PT Group brand, including messaging, tone, design, and overall "look and feel" while directing influence over public opinion through public relations strategy.
Lead and direct agency team of creatives, public relations, and communications experts to own all branding touchpoints including content creation for thought leadership and blogs, lead-converting resources, and shareable creative projects like brand-level video, web, and graphic design projects.
Prioritize initiatives based on ROI in the strategic marketing roadmap, providing key insights to internal stakeholders to help grow the business. Analyze and disseminate results, evaluating marketing effectiveness and ROI of all marketing programs.
Develop and monitor systems for acquiring feedback from patient, referral sources, and partners including satisfaction surveys, NPS scoring, and email marketing campaigns and utilize reporting to make recommendations for strategy, budget, process, patient/physician experience, etc. to key internal leadership and stakeholders.
Monitor cultural, social, and healthcare trends, their impact on patient/physician attitudes, behavior and perceptions, using a variety of market and internal research strategies.
Lead Generation and Sales Support
Develop and direct plans for acquiring new patients via external, online acquisition marketing, managing the strategy, execution, and optimization across channels including MOTION vertical service lines.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities outside with partners such as large employers, fitness facilities, community organizations, sports teams, schools, health systems. Assist in ongoing analysis, program development and serve as key relationship manager building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
Shape MOTION brand value proposition, positioning, and promise to patients and physicians, overseeing physician outreach efforts/providing strategic guidance to Manager of Physician Outreach and Physician Liaisons.
Alongside HR Leadership and the recruitment team, provide direction and marketing support for employee recruitment, retention, engagement, and corporate development strategies. Monitor and evaluate analytics for communications strategies for employees and talent acquisition and make recommendations based on data.
10+ years in developing and executing superior marketing communication strategies for high-growth companies or startup environments including staff management
Must have experience in healthcare marketing
Experience with healthcare technology or healthcare IT preferred
Brand Advertising Agency experience a plus with deep knowledge of paid channels, SEO, acquisition strategies, and analytics tools
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision and strong negotiation skills
High-level strategic and creative thinker who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and put their ideas into action
Previous experience with managing budgets and a proven record of demonstrating strong return on investment
Strong leadership skills, proven ability to build, motivate and lead team to achieve results
Strong analytical and quantitative skills must have both a curiosity and the skills to analyze and make meaning out of data and translate data into action
Expertise in marketing automation and CRM platforms
Prior success developing and executing communication plans across multiple audiences, including press, clients, and prospects
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
