The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Director, Mid-Market Vendor Sales to join our team in Portsmouth, NH or Virtually!

In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the success of Mid-Market Vendor Sales teams. This role is a key driver of reoccurring revenue through the enablement and leadership of successful sales team efforts resulting in the enrollment of Vendors within the Paymode-X Network. In this role you will lead and inspire both frontline managers as well as individual contributors of the teams responsible for enrolling Mid-Market Vendor targets, ensuring that they achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance metrics. In this role you will be responsible for the success of our transactional value selling motion.

How you'll contribute:

  • Possess the ability to lead and inspire team members to achieve sales objectives, with strong responsibility for consistent attainment of team quota objectives

  • Able to lead people over, around, or through obstacles to individual and team performance

  • Drive revenue through execution of transactional sales model with expert at pipeline management

  • Strong ability to manage and forecast against deal pipeline

  • Be a subject matter expert for the Paymode-X solution, expertly positioning value for the Vendor community and mastering the process of overcoming objections.

  • Strong multi-level coaching ability to assist both front line managers and individual sales reps to improve performance and assist with career growth

  • Partner with frontline managers on development plans for each team member

  • Coaching frontline managers and team leads on best practices for individual rep development

  • Responsible for driving adoption of sales technologies and methodologies

  • Directly coaching sales reps to improve performance and assist with career growth

  • Responsible for driving adoption of sales technologies and methodologies

  • Ability to present both in person and virtually to perspective customers and partners

  • Ability to maintain command of your message and achieve objectives in group settings both externally with customers and with internal stakeholders

  • Foster and maintain strong partnerships with other key internal teams; Account Management, Customer Success, Sales Ops, etc.

If you have the attributes, skills, and experience listed below, we want to hear from you:

  • Minimum 5 of sales experience, with at least 2-3 years of sales leadership

  • Experience in SAAS sales or Payments highly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
