We are looking for an exceptional person to lead our Apps and E-Commerce Design and User Experience team. S/he will be leading the experience on our apps portfolio for chat, voice and meeting products- mobile and desktop. Additionally leading the experience on the SB line of an e-commerce product. A leader who combines a great personal aptitude for functional and visual design with a talent for running an effective user experience team soup-to-nuts. As a design leader, you must have a deep understanding of the cutting edge user interaction models being developed in today's leading collaboration and customer engagement apps, experience designing enterprise applications for a multi-faceted business user base, and a penchant for getting recalcitrant users stuck in old work habits to try new things. You must bring a depth of knowledge about front-end technologies and become a critical partner to our technical teams in making front-end and information architecture decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall vision and strategy of product adoption and engagement on apps and e-commerce with your product management and engineering counterparts

  • Use your learned business acumen, leadership methodologies, and design skills to bring a user-centered point of view to growth and consumer-focused initiatives.

  • Build excellent experiences for smooth onboarding and increasing depth of feature adoption throughout both the customer and user life-cycle

  • Mentor and grow a team of product designers by setting crisp goals, evolving our design practice, building an amazing team culture, and be a leader to guide them to the best possible solution

  • Work with design and product leadership on initiatives that improve the work of the entire group, such as defining principles, refining UI and interaction standards, contributing to product strategy, and delivering on 8x8's business goals

  • Conduct efficient and productive design reviews, and guide leaders of product management and engineering to a unified vision of the product - you are the clearest voice of the user through the product development process

  • Ensure that user testing, feedback, and usability research deliver actionable insights used throughout the product development cycle to inform decision making

  • Attract the highest caliber design talent in the world through recruiting, networking, and leveraging your relationships in the design community.

  • Partner effectively with Engineering and Product on all technical architecture decisions affecting our front-end, information model and UX testing capabilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, PMM, GTM, Sales, SE, Support and other customer-facing organizations to enable the field, build trust with our end-users and design for an end to end customer journey.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5-8+ years of experience designing Enterprise applications concentrating on collaboration and customer engagement

  • Have managed teams spanning UX interaction design, UI visual design, and UX research

Have products in the market that demonstrate the ability to deliver innovative designs, rooted in effective user research and testing, yet accessible to mainstream business users

  • Experience designing for all devices- mobile and desktop

Up to date with developments in the user experience community

  • Your mastery is in UX, but you have a calling for other areas of the product development process

  • You are confident and comfortable presenting to customers and executives

  • You have the ability and empathy to mentor and manage others to deliver great work and the professional methodology to give them the toolkit

  • You have an online portfolio that is a testimonial for your work and demonstrates your process and methodology, from sketches through iteration to launch and beyond

  • You have a real understanding of the intricacies of using and driving decisions based on A/B testing software such as Google Analytics and Optimizely

  • You have a people-focused design mentality and are constantly looking to improve your design decisions through user feedback and research

  • You are a champion of Lean UX and Agile, but also willing to learn more and improve processes

Ensures the enhancement of business development, and continuous improvement of care center efficiency and fiscal success. Provides supervision to the clinical manager(s) who ensure the delivery of quality care to patients. Maintains the image of the care center in the community, as well as state and national organizations. * Ensures the care center's compliance with all regulations, laws, policies and procedures. Educates all staff members about state, federal, and accreditation requirements (as applicable). Maintains compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of care center personnel and accreditation standards. * Ensures that all services are billed as provided to the proper payor source. Analyzes available reimbursement data, identifies trends and initiates appropriate plans of action. Collaborates with appropriate staff to complete billing adjustments and maintenance of accurate records of these adjustments. * Directs weekly business development and management team meetings with all appropriate staff and other members of the medical community to promote home health services. Meets budgeted admission goals in collaboration with Business Development team. * Provides input, guidance and feedback related to marketing activities and care center marketing plan to ensure that goals for growth are met. Participates in marketing activities. * Oversees staff recruitment, hiring, assignment, evaluation and guidance to ensure employment of qualified staff. Ensures that the care center adheres to the company staffing model standard. * Ensures adequate orientation of every team member assigned to their care center. * Assigns and directs staff with appropriate skills to perform duties. Coaches, directs and encourages staff through use of formal and informal means. Provides leadership planning for staff education programs, administrative/staff meetings, in-services, and encourages continuous education and staff development for all team members.Sets positive, attainable expectations, objectives and goals for the care center. * Handles necessary employee corrective action and discipline issues objectively, in consultation with HR. * Uses knowledge, experience, and other resources as necessary to make logical decisions, solve problems, analyze work processes and make suggestions for improvement. * Develops care center budgets in coordination with the Area Vice President of Operations. * Responsible for care center financial and clinical performance along with delivery on key metrics within established budget. * Ensures implementation of a performance improvement program to drive quality care, positive patient outcomes, and address negative trends. Ensures issues and deficiencies identified during internal or external surveys or audits are addressed and corrected. * Collaborates with the Area Vice President of Clinical Operations in implementation of clinical operations standards and processes. * Responsible for the delivery of care for all patients served by the care centers by providing supervision and support to the Clinical Manager. * Participates in on call process, including admin on call, preparing on call schedule, supports the on-call process. * Adheres to company policies and procedures and HIPAA/Privacy Program, Compliance Program, and Code of Conduct and Ethics. Participates in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety. Identifies and reports health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace. * Provides oversight and approval of payroll, ensures agency is operating in accordance with current pay practices. * Ensures care center operations are processed in accordance with work flow standards. * Monitors and evaluates employee performance. Holds employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives. Executes effective performance redirection when needed. Develops employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal/on the job training and development opportunities. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Required: * Associates degree in Business or Clinical related field. * Two (2 ) years' home care experience and at least one year of supervisory experience or two (2 ) years' experience in leadership/management in health care, home health or hospice.
