Job Title: Director, Ultrasound Marketing & Communications

Job purpose

Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing, the Director, Ultrasound Marketing & Communications leads the planning, development and execution of marketing and communications objectives, strategies, and programs in support of business unit sales and marketing goals.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work closely with BU leadership to prioritize business requirements and strategic initiatives and incorporate into overall communications strategy.

  • Develop a multi-faceted marketing communications strategy including integrating channels such as email, video, trade shows, sales collateral, inside sales, social media, web, paid search, print, and online advertising, etc.

  • Work closely with Sales and Product Marketing to create effective sales tools to ensure successful product launches as well as to educate HCPs on the complete portfolio of ultrasound solutions.

  • Develop relevant content, messaging, and product positioning at each step of the buying process to move prospects through the purchasing journey.

  • Consistently strive to identify new strategies and best practices to improve marketing and sales results.

  • Focused not only on successful campaign implementation, but also on the impact the communications strategy has on the financial success of HCUS.

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.

  • Manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

  • Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including posts, images, and videos.

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms.

  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize strategies based on the data collected.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers and content creators, to execute marketing campaigns.

  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices, and suggest innovative strategies to improve campaign performance.

  • Manage email-marketing campaigns, including creating newsletters and automated drip campaigns.

  • Facilitate execution of co-marketing deliverables as required.

  • Works closely with Sales and Product Marketing as it relates to regional and national events, the promotion of participating in these events, and the coordination of requesting equipment to support hands on courses or exhibits, maximizing every opportunity for HCUS exposure.

  • Understands and applies corporate brand and positioning, as well as communications policy.

  • Works effectively across HCUS divisions as it relates to best practice sharing in order to help increase lead ROI and optimized sales funnels.

  • Adheres to the Company's quality and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • With 10+ years overall experience, this individual will be a proven healthcare communications leader and strategic thinker.

  • Knowledge and experience with ultrasound technologies and industry.

  • Experience marketing to the Surgery and Urology audience segment.

  • Understanding of the U.S. healthcare market.

  • Sales-driven to move decision makers through the purchasing journey.

  • Demonstrated experience managing at least 2+ direct reports.

  • Extensive experience with online communications, demand generation, lead nurturing, media planning, events, social media, and trade show marketing.

  • Proven experience leading marketing communications campaigns in support of business- critical product launches and high-profile brand campaigns.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or advertising.

  • In lieu of degree relevant experience required.

Special Skills or other Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-starter with proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, result- oriented marketing environment and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while staying within budget.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to gain consensus and facilitate decision-making processes within a matrixed environment.

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

  • Capable and comfortable engaging with senior leadership and BU stakeholders.

  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office.

Physical requirements

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.

  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.

  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.

  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.

  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel

  • Periodic travel to exhibits, Fujifilm site locations, and customer sites.

  • Travel requirement is approximately 15-25%.
