Job Description

As the Director, Technology Supply Chain Systems at Vuori, a leadership role on our Technology Enterprise Solutions team, you will drive the strategy and execution of a multi-year roadmap of supply chain systems implementations as well as ongoing systems support, innovation, and international expansion. You will participate in the selection of a new tier 1 WMS platform as a replacement for our current SMB WMS, a new distributed order management (DOM) platform that supports omni-channel fulfillment (selection TBD), supplier integrations, and various other systems that may be needed over time (labor management, transportation management, robotics, additional warehouse automation, etc.). Your leadership will be instrumental in building and managing a successful team, establishing collaborative relationships within the technology organization and with key business partners, recommending and implementing technology solutions, overseeing vendor partnerships, and establishing timely and reliable support, all of which are crucial to Vuori's continued growth. Working collaboratively with other technology teams and our PMO, you will coordinate and manage schedules, budgets, priorities, and team capacity. Your dedication to excellence and collaboration with our Enterprise Solutions quality assurance team will ensure that our supply chain applications and processes meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.  Your depth of knowledge and experience will position you to evaluate and recommend new supply chain innovation opportunities that should be added to the applications roadmap.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build, lead and continuously develop a high performing team of supply chain systems professionals.

  • Assess and recommend org strategy for the team, including partnerships and global support.

  • Help lead RFPs for selection of software platforms and implementation partners.

  • Establish and enforce sound implementation and support processes within the team.

  • Assess, recommend, implement and support supply chain technology solutions.

  • Oversee the day-to-day work and career development of the supply chain systems team.

  • Manage the capacity and throughput of the team to ensure commitments are delivered on-time and within budget.

  • Continuously improve internal team processes and coordination of work with other teams.

  • Contribute to periodic executive status reporting and presentations

  • Devise KPI's to measure system performance and proactively report and act on these metrics.

  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Solutions Quality Assurance Team to implement QA strategies and test scenarios to ensure the quality and reliability of supply chain systems and processes.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure your team understands requirements and implements effective solutions.

  • Collaborate and align with the Enterprise Solutions Engineering and Architecture team to ensure system integrations requirements are well understood and properly documented, implemented and supported.

  • Prepare for and ensure reliable systems operations during peak season

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain systems and use this knowledge to recommend additions to the supply chain systems roadmap.

  • Provide guidance and support to your team members and other business and technology stakeholders in resolving supply chain issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or comparable professional experience. A master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in implementing and supporting supply chain systems including procurement, WMS, LMS, TMS, robotics and automation systems, and DOM.

  • Proven technology leadership experience (5+ years).

  • Apparel experience strongly desired.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of SDLC and agile practices.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $170,000-$200,000/yr
