Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

Workforce planning:

Conduct research and develop market analyses to influence broad workforce planning initiatives for the business. Analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends and assist the business in managing their headcount numbers. Partner with business leaders to identify existing/future talent needs from early in career to experienced hires and develop workforce recruitment plans to address requirements of the business.

Sourcing:

Serve as SME on candidate sourcing strategy, intelligence, recruitment channels and market conditions. Assist Recruiters in proactively building networks for talent and developing recruitment tactics to ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Develop and implement recruiting strategies to align with and support overall organizational objectives to include driving diverse talent funnels and strategic initiatives. Identify and vet external vendors for partnership. Manage and leverage recruiting technology to enhance recruiting results. Research, develop, and launch new recruiting tools/technologies.

Analytics:

Establish key performance benchmarks for overall recruiting effectiveness and conduct ongoing analysis to measure results for process improvement. Track and communicate organizational performance against key performance benchmarks to key stakeholders. Leverage data and analytics to drive the narrative of our recruiting results.

Other:

Participate as an active and thoughtful member of the TA leadership team Partner with TA Strategic Sourcing (including UR and Diversity) to create strategies and solutions to ensure talent pipelines and a strong employment brand Work closely with HR and business partners to eliminate inhibitors to the recruiting process and level set expectations.

Other assignments as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects. Strong written and oral communications skills including compiling data into manageable formats and the ability to communicate effectively to a wide array of audiences.

Experience in the evaluation and development of recruiting processes, procedures and creative sourcing strategies. Strong command of data and analytics coupled with a highly developed business acumen. Experience with external talent acquisition solutions including agencies, universities and industry organizations. Ability to work in a team-based environment as well as on tasks which require high levels of initiative, autonomy and independent thought and action.

Travelers is seeking a Director, Technology and Emerging Skills - Talent Acquisition to help shape and drive execution of a multi-year strategic recruitment plan to ensure talent acquisition aligns with the needs and priorities of our business units. This individual will engage and collaborate across internal teams to support the vision, operational excellence and transformation agenda including our Technology, Operations and Analytics organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS plus 7 years of related experience in the field of recruitment, human resources, technology or project management required.

In this role, the ideal person will bring the current team and all recruiting processes to the next level. With a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and change management, the Director of Talent Acquisition will assess current tools, evaluate all talent acquisition practices and build a repeatable process that positions Iron Mountain for growth. The Director of Talent Acquisition will manage a team of approximately 6 people in an environment where 1,000+ people are hired each year across several domestic US locations. The qualified candidate brings experience recruiting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on executive, professional and technical roles. This person must also possess a strong background in reporting and analytics, as well as expertise with process improvements. The Director of Talent will report to the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Build a strategic, best in class recruiting function that enables the business to drive results * Overhaul, develop and drive consistency that allows the talent acquisition team to focus on attracting, finding, selecting and hiring corporate and technical professionals * Ensure processes, data, analytics and reporting are tracked for efficiency and effectiveness * Maintain workflows and relationships with partners and vendors * Review current TA processes to identify opportunities and determine plans for streamlining to ensure rigor, thoroughness and a quality experience * Provide leadership in the development and execution of programs (i.e., employment branding, employee referrals, etc.) * Act as a thought partner and coach to Executives and Managers when it comes to all things recruiting and hiring * Continuously innovate and look for new and creative ways to attract and select talent * Act as strategic partner to Head of Global Talent and a key member of her leadership team REPORTING & ANALYTICS * Ensure systems support is accurate and provides meaningful reporting for the business * Develop recruitment metrics in partnership with recruiting ops and leadership team that drive optimal recruiting performance * Manage KPIs to ensure that the team's processes and performance are running efficiently and/or improving over time * Collaborate with business and other departments to continually assess and improve upon the effectiveness of recruiting tools and processes Qualifications THE IDEAL CANDIDATE * BA/BS degree or equivalent experience * 8+ years of recruiting leadership experience * Subject matter expert (SME) in an executive, corporate/technical recruiting environment * Experience developing and executing fully comprehensive recruitment programs * Has acted as a central point of contact for Talent Acquisition and possesses,knowledge and proficiency on all recruiting processes, programs and tools * Proven success in team development through inspiration, change management and operationaleffectiveness * Can problem-solve and make things happen * Drives consensus through the appropriate use of data * Cross-functional leader with proven ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization and leverage networks * It is the responsibility of every Iron Mountain employee: We offer a cafeteria style benefits package.
