What we are looking for:

As a senior leader, this person is an integral member of the software development team at Teladoc Health. They will oversee a core team of senior-level Product Owners/Business Analysts/Project Managers responsible for managing key projects for the company focused on delivering best-in-class technology solutions in support of our business strategy and growth. This position will be expected to be hands on with individual contribution as well as managing the overall responsibilities of the team who are the bridge between business teams and development, are writing and managing business and technical requirements documents, identifying use cases / user stories, and clearly defining acceptance criteria.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage agile development process and methodology including identifying and implementing process improvement.

  • Able to create processes and procedures for ideation, prototyping and production.

  • Manage and Mentor a team of business analysts and project managers.

  • Perform project management oversight and execution.

  • Work closely with development team to ensure accurate interpretation of business and technical requirements.

  • Work with business stakeholders and QA team to ensure development projects properly meet requirements.

  • Demonstrate ability to be creative and visionary, with the ability to see opportunities with the business acumen to shepherd ideas from the visionary stage through to production.

  • Manage multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously across the business.

  • Report up performance and escalate issues as appropriate.

  • Interface directly with clients as needed, provide a professional and polished communication style.

  • Collaborate, work closely and build relationships with product management and business stakeholders to gather development project requirements.

  • Write and maintain business and technical requirements.

  • Identify and document user stories with acceptance criteria for each requirement.

  • Maintain all documentation in team tools such as Confluence, Jira, and TFS.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Related Field. (equivalent years of relevant work experience may be substituted)

  • 8+ years of professional experience as a project manager or business analyst;

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team.

  • Project management certification a plus.

  • Proficient working in the agile methodology.

  • Deliver Results: Oversee the planning and delivery of complex development projects, ensuring well-designed and well-tested solutions are on time and within budget.

  • Subject-Matter Expert: Participate in defining product vision, road maps, feature enhancements and other strategic plans/objectives.

  • People Manager: Motivate, coach and effectively direct a staff of direct reports that deliver high quality and timely results, as well as third-party vendors as needed. This includes establishing objectives aligned with business goals, evaluating progress and providing feedback to team, as well as other traditional people manager duties (hiring, performance development, workforce planning, expense management, etc..)

  • Team Player: Maintain productive and influential working relationships with internal partners within the department as well as cross-functionally (project managers, product development, etc.) Interact with clients as needed.

  • Hands-On: Produce clean code, test work and support the team with a hands-on approach in other ways as needed.
