Responsibilities:

• Manage and Staff Embedded Software team hosting daily standups, assigning tickets, managing the backlog.

• Manage project budget, BOM cost, project schedule, and EVSE performance to target.

• Provide cross-functional leadership for EVSE projects collaborating with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical teams.

• Establish project schedule working with suppliers, EVgo engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Present periodic project status updates to the leadership team.

• Lead technical team product development meetings.

• Track feature requirements and requests in JIRA.

• Participate in design and project reviews and with suppliers, virtually and in person.

Required Skills and Experience:

• BS or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• +10 years of experience with software development and program management

• Experience with Software Development tracking and reporting with JIRA.

• Product Launch experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial or consumer electronics fields.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with DC Fast Charging.

• Mandarin Language proficiency a plus.

• Experience with charging cloud protocol Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) is a plus.

• Experience with charging protocols such as SAE 1772, DIN SPEC 70121, ISO 15118 is a plus.

For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $195,000 USD to $205,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer discretionary target cash bonuses, restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval), and a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance, unbounded paid time off including parental leave, and a 401(k).
