WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As the Director, Technical Product Management (TPM) for Tech Ops you will own the strategy and roadmaps for products supporting our Technical Resilience organization. You lead a team responsible for the product areas of High Availability, Observability and Endpoint Management. This role is driven by defining strategic priorities and laying out product visions. You'll transform those visions into actions and build measurable product plans.
You will have specialized knowledge and lead the areas of:
Enterprise Observability tools & implementations
Global Enterprise Endpoint Management across multiple technologies
Multi-region active / active High Availability
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a TPM Leader, you will focus on driving excellence in product & platform strategy and execution. You collaborate with various teams within Global Technology (e.g., Digital Technology Program Office, Engineering leaders) and key Functional Teams across the business (e.g., Global Operations Team, Marketplace). You have a deep understanding of how to craft creative quality technical products and enable business capabilities and objectives through technology.
Lead and manage end - to - end enterprise roadmap
Build an end to end product/platform vision and multi-year roadmap in partnership with Engineering and the business
Work with partners to define business needs, outcomes and value and ensure roadmaps align those needs
Ensure roadmaps account for & integrate dependencies across functional areas within Domains
Ensure Tech Team roadmaps account for and integrate dependencies across functional areas within Domains
Collaborate with TPMs across Domains and the Central TPM Leader to address dependencies across Global Tech; provide inputs into overall Global Tech roadmap development
Define product and platform strategy
Partner with customers to understand business needs/goals and provide strategic advice on how to respond
Apply a "customer-centric" approach for roadmap design to ensure creation of products/platforms that meet current and future enterprise needs
Develop product/platform strategies ensuring they deliver outsized value to Global Tech quickly and are built to be scalable and agile
Bring best-in-class market and industry insights to platform and product strategy
Deliver value to the business via products & platforms while elevating product management maturity
Use a value framework to make product / platform decisions
Drive the execution steps of product management aligning with the value framework
Drive adherence to all standard TPM ways of working (e.g., process, artifacts, templates, collaboration models)
Track value delivered, product adoption, performance, and execution against the roadmap and adjust as needed
Ensure TPM maturity throughout all levels of the Tech Team, including support for the field (e.g. role development, career pathing)
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Senior Director of TPM for Tech Ops & CIS to ensure alignment with Center-led TPM goals and strategies. You will lead a team of TPMs in this functional area. You work closely with Engineering teams, collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., other TPMs, Business leads, Domain leads, Architecture, Program Management), and facilitate decision-making across priorities with Portfolio Management.
