Job Description

The Director, Talent Management is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the talent management strategy across the organization. This role is pivotal in developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring a continuous pipeline of skilled individuals that support the organization's goals. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership, HR teams, and department heads to align talent management practices with organizational needs, fostering an environment of high performance, growth, and innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Talent Strategy Development:

Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive talent management strategy that aligns with the company's mission, vision, and long-term objectives. Continuously assess the talent landscape to ensure the organization's needs are met.

  • Workforce Planning:

Analyze workforce data to predict future talent needs, ensuring optimal staffing levels, and skill sets.

  • Leadership Development:

Develop and oversee leadership development programs, with at least three levels, to build and sustain a pipeline of future leaders within the organization. Ensure succession planning is in place for executive and other critical roles.

  • Performance Management:

Establish and maintain performance management frameworks that empower managers to guide employees toward achieving both individual and team goals. Promote a culture of continuous feedback, growth, and accountability.

  • Learning and Development:

Oversee employee learning and development initiatives that enhance both individual capabilities and organizational growth. Champion initiatives that foster a growth mindset and continuous professional development.

  • Talent Assessment:

Leverage data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of talent management practices. Implement tools and processes to measure and evaluate talent effectiveness, performance, and overall organizational impact.

  • Change Management:

Drive and support organizational change efforts related to talent management. Serve as a change agent during company transformations and the implementation of new HR technologies or methodologies.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and key stakeholders on talent management issues. Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of talent strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent management strategies and programs.
  • Strong understanding of organizational development, performance management, and learning & development best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Deep knowledge of HR technologies and analytics tools.
  • Ability to think strategically, act tactically, and lead through influence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in talent management, human resources, or related areas, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
  • Experience in change management and talent transformation initiatives.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.

$153,140.00 - $255,230.00
