SUMMARY

The Director, Talent Management & DEI is responsible for the development and implementation of a global talent strategy for the company, which will enable the future success of Allegro by ensuring we have the right mix of people, with the right skills in place at the appropriate time.

The Director, Talent Management & DEI will report into the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) and will lead the talent management activities to include on-boarding, leadership and organizational development, succession planning, employee engagement, workforce planning, and performance management. In addition, this role will drive initiatives to advance our progress in developing programs designed to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and inclusive workforce.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with the CHRO, CEO, HR Leadership team, and senior business leaders across the company to understand business strategy and align talent, culture, and capabilities to support short and long-term organizational objectives. The successful candidate will balance deep subject-matter expertise with a strong bias for action - delivering impactful, measurable results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Management & Development

  • Develop and implement a global talent management strategy that is 'fit for purpose' -- rooted in pragmatism and clearly aligned to business requirements.

  • Lead all global Talent Management and Development program work in support of this strategy, ensuring that projects and initiatives deliver on-time, within budget and achieve desired results.

  • Collaboratively work with HR team to ensure that talent processes and tools are embedded and consistently (where appropriate) applied across the organization and that there is a sharing of best practice approaches across the global organization.

  • Evaluate talent requirements across the organization and assist business leaders across the company in "build or buy" (develop or recruit) talent analysis.

  • Build full-suite of development solutions for critical talent pools -- executive, high-potentials, emerging leaders and employees of targeted job families.

  • Provide coaching/consultation to business and HR leaders regarding performance management, employee development planning and talent movement.

  • In collaboration with HR and business leaders, design processes/programs which encourage greater cross-business, cross-geo talent mobility

Culture and Engagement

  • Spearhead engagement of our employees and measure our effectiveness in doing so; including the implementation of our annual engagement survey, ensuring appropriate improvement initiatives and actions are in place.

  • Direct efforts to effectively manage and navigate change; introduce change management frameworks and tools and ensure these resources are deployed across Allegro's HR and business change initiatives.

  • Champion efforts to define and cultivate our employee culture. Ensure that our processes, systems, structures and incentives are aligned with and support this culture.

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

  • Drive initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of the employee experience, including policies, processes, and programs.

  • Establish metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of DEI initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.

  • Stay informed of industry trends, benchmarking data, and legislative changes related to DEI, applying insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Cultivate partnerships with internal ERG's and external organizations, community groups, and educational institutions to support Allegro's diversity recruiting and community engagement efforts.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent management, DEI, or related HR functions, with a track record of success in designing and implementing strategic initiatives.

  • Deep understanding of employee development and organizational effectiveness principles.

  • Proven ability to lead change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, with strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Strong global orientation - with demonstrated experience designing and implementing talent solutions across the globe.

  • Experience in talent management frameworks, processes and approaches - ideally gained in other organizations which have deployed these solutions to achieve world-class results.

  • Knowledge of, and experience in designing, implementing and maintaining talent processes and approaches.

  • Strategic thought leadership with the ability to turn that thinking into a clear vision and executable plan.

  • Comfortable operating at a strategic level but also able to execute tactics effectively and do what is needed to deliver results

  • Excellent networking and collaboration skills - able to use that network to facilitate benchmarking and best practice research.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience driving cultural change and fostering inclusive work environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive informed decisions.
