The Director of Talent Management will lead talent management and learning and development related strategies as a function with Human Resources. This leader will build and champion career development, organizational development, and succession planning processes and policies across a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment.

This role will drive talent management strategy by leveraging partnerships throughout the organization that aligns with company vision and goals. The Director of Talent Management is responsible for needs assessment, design, development, and delivery of employee learning and leadership development including overall talent management.

Job Duties

  • Leveraging "best practices" to design a framework and process for understanding, articulating, measuring, and facilitating the development of capabilities and/or competencies across the business.

  • Develop, implement and maintain a career planning and employee development strategy that values the contributions and skills of each team member and build plans to align their aspirations and skill sets with the growth and needs of the company. Acts as a resource to employees ensuring employee success and engagement.

  • Work with TA and other HR/Business leaders to coordinate a robust onboarding for all new hires to ensure successful integration to the organization.

  • Develops and administers company wide leadership development and succession planning program.

  • Act as a change management specialist to assess, define, and drive activities to establish organizational effectiveness and sustain culture change.

  • Lead the strategy, development, implementation and administration of employee learning/training programs within the organization including creating a comprehensive, dynamic, and scalable work plan.

  • Measure and monitor effectiveness and sustainability of training including developing measurement tools to ensure appropriate impact and effectiveness of learning programs and materials while ensuring consistency, accuracy, quality, and transfer of training.

  • Deliver instructor-led training and train-the-trainer sessions modifying as needed to meet the overall goals of the organization.

  • Leads a team of L&D Professionals.

  • Work with HR team member for training priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline

  • 7+ years of experience in talent management and learning & development and 2+ years in a leadership role

  • Demonstrated experience in ID and facilitation

  • Track record of managing large-scale project(s) which involved significant change management, adaptability and agility, influence, and stakeholder management

  • Demonstrated understanding of "best practice" frameworks or processes for identifying critical capabilities at the function or enterprise level, building functional/technical competency models, integrating and embedding the model across talent practices, etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to establish positive, professional rapport with others

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively work across areas of HR

  • Experience in a fast-paced, corporate environment

  • Relevant Certifications preferred
