We are looking for a learning and talent development professional to design, deliver, and scale transformational learning program(s) and offerings for senior leaders, managers, and individual contributors at all levels, helping them realize their fullest potential and grow their careers at Gong. Reporting to the head of L&D, this role will require someone with strong skills in learning consultation, instructional design, facilitation, program management, and partnering with our People Business Partners, business leaders, and stakeholders across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program Design: Design high-impact development programs informed by business needs and industry research. Design for both in-person and virtual/distributed learning experiences. Consult with stakeholders across functions to assess learning needs tied to business strategy. Uncover what is required to drive the desired business outcomes through research and data.

  • Program Management: Execute talent development programs end-to-end, create clear program project plans, manage execution, and gather input and feedback to continuously improve programs.

  • Facilitation & Delivery: Engage learners, facilitate dialog, tell compelling stories, and deliver a variety of content both in a classroom and virtual setting.

  • Find, assess, select, and manage vendors to support the Gong's learning needs.

  • Partnership: Work closely with all levels of business leadership and broader People teams, ensuring programs embody our operating and leadership principles.

  • Change Management & Communication: Leverage change management methodologies to ensure global program adoption.

  • Evaluation and Analytics: Report on appropriate talent metrics; identify key insights to inform future actions and decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years working in learning and development, ideally in technology/SaaS companies

  • Strong experience in content delivery and facilitation; a passion for creating experiential, transformative learning experiences

  • A deep personal belief and commitment to diversity and belonging at work

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience and comfort facilitating through video conferencing applications like Zoom

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with technology, including Google G Suite and Learning Management Systems

  • A builder who can work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • A curious learner with a growth mindset, staying relevant on emerging trends in the L&D space

  • Able to turn academic/theoretical content into digestible, applicable learning experiences within the business context

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $195,000 - $227,000 USD.

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
