Who We Want

We are looking for a strong learning and talent development professional to design, deliver, and scale transformational learning program(s) and offerings for senior leaders, managers, and individual contributors at all levels, helping them realize their fullest potential and grow their careers at Carson. Reporting to the CHRO, this role will require someone with strong skills in learning consultation, instructional design, facilitation, program management, and partnering with our business leaders and stakeholders across the organization. This is a leader and stakeholder facing role, charged with proactive strategy and implementation of programs including oversight of recruiting strategy, leader/stakeholder development, talent review, the learning management system, required training, and other programs as directed

What To Expect

  • Program Design: Design high-impact development programs informed by business needs and industry research. Design for both in-person and virtual/distributed learning experiences. Consult with stakeholders across functions to assess learning needs tied to business strategy. Uncover what is required to drive the desired business outcomes through research and data.

  • Program Management: Execute talent development programs end-to-end, create clear program project plans, manage execution, and gather input and feedback to continuously improve programs.

  • Facilitation & Delivery: Engage learners, facilitate dialog, tell compelling stories, and deliver a variety of content both in a classroom and virtual setting.

  • Oversee and lead recruiting strategy and resources

  • Find, assess, select, and manage vendors to support Carsons learning needs.

  • Partnership: Work closely with all levels of business leadership ensuring programs embody our operating and leadership principles.

  • Change Management & Communication: Leverage change management methodologies to ensure wide program adoption.

  • Evaluation and Analytics: Report on appropriate talent metrics; identify key insights to inform future actions and decision-making.

  • Work with relevant teams to maintain and launch required training courses on LMS system

  • Along with other divisions, manage all activities to ensure current LMS learning system is operational, compliant, and current in all required and supplemental content.

  • Manage the process to approve and track stakeholder professional development investments

  • Provide backup support as necessary in areas including recruiting, compensation, benefits, and employee relations

What You Need

  • High level business partnership skills across all job levels

  • Talent management including performance management, succession planning, leadership development

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills comfort presenting in any situation

  • Basic knowledge of LMS systems

  • Works well in a team environment

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
