Overview: The Director, Talent Development- Americas is a key advisory leader who will lead the Talent Strategies in the region. Focuses include, but are not limited to, Talent Strategy, Talent Development, Career Management, Workforce and Organizational Development, and Program Delivery & Implementation. The Director of Talent Development will partner closely to ensure alignment on the organization's strategic goals that drive our key results in the areas of talent and development across the region and deliver on market-specific needs with a strong focus on elevation of our talent.

The Director, Talent Development must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy an curate development for talent with a focus on clients, people, and brand desirability. They will be open and approachable and will work with both the zone team and the market teams in a transparent, united, and mutually supportive manner. Key Accountabilities:

Talent Development

  • Enhance development of Tiffany & Co. Americas employees and manage programs in a more strategic manner, to elevate our talent and increase people and organization capability by working closely with HR Business Partners and the Global Talent team

  • Identify and grasp development needs, and propose curated programs that meet individual and departmental needs, leveraging existing programs across Tiffany and LVMH

  • Identify training resources to support the design and implementation of program needs in partnership with Global Learning & Development

  • Monitor the progress of the training participants and assess the programs to ensure both are well matches in achieving our goals

  • Improve and lead training nomination processes for the Americas, including LVMH programs aligned with individual development needs by working with HR Business Partners

  • Ensure the implementation of the global Tiffany & Co. learning and development action plan across the region

  • Partner with Director, Talent Acquisition- Americas to align on succession planning gaps and develop talent pipelines

Career Management

  • Adapt and implement a smooth, consistent, and effective induction process for all new employees. Ensuring synergies with HRBPS and Americas Talent Director for all employee onboarding experiences

  • Identify key talents within the organization, in partnership with HR Business Partners, and create dedicated action plans to support the growth of key talents, within the organization

  • Develop meaningful relationships with key talents and serve as a career coach and resource

  • Grow people within the organization, promoting internal mobility and offering motivational career paths

Project Management

  • Partner with HR leaders to support annual LVMH/ Tiffany & Co.- Americas key HR processes. Including, but not limited to, Performance Reviews, Career Reviews, and Organization Management Reviews

  • Identify areas of opportunity across the Americas to generate, and implement, necessary action plans for improvement and creating a better workplace for the employees

  • Plan and lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives considering the organization needs and changes. (i.e., Diversity & Inclusion)

  • Develop a continuous improvement approach across all COEs in support of the HRBPs and co-create action plans to ensure high touch experiences for our employees and candidates

  • Lead HR for HR engagement activities, including the development of the Americas HR Townhall agendas

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of HR related experience in Talent Development, HR Business Partnership, Organizational Transformation

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree

  • Experience working with both corporate and retail leadership teams

  • Focused on delivering excellence

  • Flexibility, agility, and ability to multi-task

  • Appreciation of luxury universe

  • Independent highly motivated fast learner

  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills

  • Collaborative mindset, with a proven record of building authentic relationships to develop a strong rapport with leaders and cross-functional partners

The hiring range for this position ranges from $159,120 - $224,640. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience. Management is also eligible for bonus.
