Position Summary This position facilitates and coordinates system-wide programs and initiatives designed to advance health system clinical, financial and strategic goals. Reporting to the Senior Director, System Development, this position leads initiatives on behalf of the Senior Director and in collaboration with the Senior Director and senior executives throughout MaineHealth.
The Director supports senior executives with the identification, planning, execution and implementation of key initiatives in support of furthering system growth and the goals identified in MaineHealth#s system mission statement. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Bachelor#s Degree required. Master#s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, Public Policy, or related field is strongly preferred 7+ years of experience in healthcare field Knowledge of healthcare industry with an understanding of both strategy and operations with capacity to function at both levels Team player who thrives on collaboration and productive professional relationships, communicates effectively, and handles conflict with maturity Demonstrated experience in leading multi-stakeholder groups consisting of senior administrative and clinical leadership to advance controversial organization change initiatives Capacity to lead or conduct multiple projects at once, with responsibility for complete spectrum of required activities or in collaboration with others Outstanding capability to prepare and deliver oral, written, quantitative, or graphical reports for executive level audiences Strong ability to distill critical points of information and patterns from large quantities of information.
