Less than 10% Brief Statement of Duties Brief Statement of Duties: Provide leadership for undergraduate advising and campus wide student success efforts. Leverage data and effective practices and work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to develop, implement, assess, and/or refine various systems, policies, and processes to support students' holistic needs.
Serve as champion for the success of all students, helping to reduce, and ultimately eliminate, institutional performance (equity) gaps and to increase degree completion. Minimum Qualifications Required Education: Master's Degree Discipline / Degree Area:
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Required Minimum Work Experience: Seven years of progressively responsible work experience within academic advising or student success offices at an institution of higher education, including at least two years of professional staff supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Strong understanding of student success and effective advising practices.
Exceptional leadership ability with demonstrated experience collaborating and building consensus with multiple stakeholder groups.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/programs and to delegate as necessary.
Ability to focus on innovation and continuous improvement, using data to inform decisions.
Ability to interact with diverse groups of students, faculty, staff, and outside constituents in a manner which positively reflects upon the division and the university.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including public speaking skills.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and evenings. Additional Desirable Qualifications Additional Desirable Qualifications: Budget management experience.
