The Director, Strategic Transformation Process Improvement and Integration is a critical role responsible for leading and driving process improvement initiatives identified by the Strategic Transformation Center (STC). In collaboration with the STC, Strategic Theme and Initiative Leaders, business areas, and subject matter experts (the key stakeholders), this role will support the identification of areas for improvement, development of innovative solutions, and the design and implementation of optimized processes.

Process Improvement

  • Partnering with the key stakeholders, identify and drive process improvement opportunities aligned with the transformation initiatives. Integrates the voice of the customer insights to ensures processes deliver high impact of operational effectiveness, utilization, and value to our customers.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to prioritize work in alignment with the transformation roadmap, conducts root-cause analysis, analyzes data, develops innovative solutions, and proposes implementation plans.

  • Ensures business requirements of key stakeholders across all related areas are represented in cross functional governance forums to positively impact value, lifecycle and adoption of the process improvements/changes.

  • Ensures, through collaboration and engagement of the key stakeholders, that solutions meet the compliance and legal requirements.

  • Coordinates with STC, Digital, and other key stakeholders to identify and assign resources to process improvement initiatives.

  • Develops the necessary plans and activites that must occur to operationalize the new systems and processes (e.g. employee/role training, supporting process documentation, manual and automated controls, etc.).

  • Creates and communicates process documentation (e.g. SIPOCs, Job Guides, etc.) across impacted business areas to ensure process improvements are executed with consistency and excellence.

  • Defines Objectives and Key Results (OKR's) and Key Performance Indicators in order to monitor progress and measure results.

  • Manages vendor relationships as needed ensuring quality delivery, adherence to service levels, and addressing roadblocks as needed.

  • Provides regular reporting on the progress, next steps, and challenges regarding active process improvement initiatives. Ensures timely program reporting is in place and distributed to key stakeholders in order to drive and influence informed decision making.

Functional (Business Area) Strategy Development and Implementation Support

  • Collaborates with leaders/teams across the business to ensure functional strategies and transformation strategies are aligned when appropriate, coordinated when necessary, and do not create duplicative or conflicting work tracks.

  • Helps to orchestrate the execution of functional strategies in coordination with transformation strategies when appropriate.

Change Management

  • Works closely with the STC to develop and implement strategies to actively drive change across the teams and support the successful implementation of the transformation initiatives. Collaborates with Talent and other key stakeholders to identify workforce change management needs and implement programs to facilitate success.

  • Supports the management of change through continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering enterprise standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, management, industrial engineering, or a related discipline. A master's degree in a similar field would be preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • 10+ years in a project management, business transformation, process improvement, or strategic planning role, preferably in a complex, large-scale organizational environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in program/project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives is essential.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis, and developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

  • Strong change management skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of business operations, strategy development, and the ability to align functional strategies with overall organizational transformation efforts.

  • Familiarity with Agile project management principles and experience driving continuous improvement in complex, fast-paced environments.
