Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Director, Sourcing Practice - Corporate Services in our Norwalk, CT Office. You will be a key member of our Operations and Strategic Sourcing Team managing Professional Service engagements, reporting to the Managing Director in our Norwalk, CT headquarters. This role can be remote for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies as a key part of our solution to deliver on client objectives for Corporate Services and related categories including: Contingent Labor, Professional Services, Financial Services, Consulting Services and Human Resources. A plus to have additional experience in other Indirect Procurement categories, such as IT, Travel, Real Estate, etc..

• Build, manage and execute large-scale and multi-client RF(x)s through our sourcing software:

• Create templates in the software

• Gather pertinent information and enter data

• Launch RF(x)s and monitor vendor progress

• Process large amounts of client data to compile market baskets and vendor panels for RF(x)s

• Summarize RF(x) results for presentation to SMEs or other internal stakeholders

• Source suppliers and foster strong supplier relationships

• Negotiate best pricing and service through the application of LogicSource's sourcing methodology

• Provide first-rate customer service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, internal and external

• Remain abreast of the latest industry innovations and continually feed information to those serving our clients

• Indirectly manage and support a team of 2 to 3 sourcing managers

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree required

• Minimum of seven years cross-functional experience in managing the end to end strategic sourcing process and at least 3 years specifically in the Corporate Services vertical

• Demonstrated success in Indirect Procurement or Services Procurement is a plus

• Prior experience interfacing with clients and/or stakeholders at all organizational levels, especially within a services industry (e.g., professional consulting, BPO, outsourcing)

• Capable of managing sourcing initiatives for categories with little to no previous experience by leveraging a complete understanding of sourcing principles and processes

• Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure on-time delivery

• Experience with e-sourcing software is a plus

• Strong communication skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with suppliers, and internal or client stakeholders at all organizational levels

• Detail oriented with the keen ability deliver on client expectations, influencing others or escalating as needed to do so

• Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work

• Demonstrated strong problem solving skills

• Analytically adept with strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to synthesize and interpret data accurately

• Ability to present intelligently with strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills

Travel

Expected travel requirements +/-25%.
