CCH Tagetik Corporate Performance Management Solutions is looking to hire a Director, Strategic Marketing for North America on the East Coast.

The Director, Strategic Marketing, CCH Tagetik is responsible for global planning, scope, and execution of the CCH Tagetik marketing strategies, ensuring all plans and tactics are successfully coordinated for the successful attainment of targeted business unit results. Key responsibilities of this position include leading all CCH Tagetik marketing communications, lead generation, web presence, digital marketing, e-store, social media and brand management functions ensuring the overarching marketing strategy for each business segment is consistent and aligned in terms of brand, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

The Director, Strategic Marketing will collaborate with their team and others for specific operational elements of the marketing strategy, including product marketing, channel marketing, market segmentation, marketing communications, pricing strategy, competitive intelligence, marketing research and marketing analysis. This is a strategic role with multi-tiered touch points ensuring tactical marketing aspects are coordinated and carried out in a cohesive and consistent manner across the organization.

Up to 40% overnight travel (domestic and some international)

  • Education:

Bachelors in Marketing or equivalent required; MBA preferred

  • Provides overall Global guidance to the segments for marketing and brand strategy that best articulates the value proposition of the individual product lines, maximizes market awareness, and assures consistency with Wolters Kluwer branding guidelines.

  • Establishing and leveraging core business intelligence metrics for assessing success of the marketing strategy.

  • Generating long-term business/strategic marketing plans to enable the successful achievement of the business unit financial objectives.

  • Provide marketing, business intelligence and presentation expertise in developing 3-year strategic plan.

  • Leads all business and market intelligence efforts for the business unit including managing relationships with 3rd party research firms as well as associations.

  • Oversee Global marketing communications and services including branding, public relations, social media, advertising and other marketing materials to assure a consistent branding approach and feel across product lines and market segments. Also responsible for corporate communications within the business unit and presentation support for the EVP Commercial & COO and executive speaking opportunities

  • Provides overall Global guidance to ensure consistent implementation of demand generation efforts across the business units. Identifies and implements strategic improvements for marketing components of CRM.

  • Supports talent management processes through active leadership, coaching, recruiting and organizational development activity including talent review, training and cultivation of new leaders using available programs and tools.

  • May, from time to time drive effective communication across multiple levels of the greater Wolters Kluwer divisions and corporate marketing functions to ensure appropriate visibility of marketing activities, strategy and results.

  • In conjunction with WK corporate marketing and operations functions, ensures best-in-class marketing processes are instituted and software is optimized.

  • Assures annual marketing budget is met and spend is optimized.

Experience: 15+ years of marketing experience with 8 years leading high energy, global & diverse teams in a publicly traded B2B software business. (Relevant experience in a mix of software, information services, or technology sectors would be considered.) Direct experience in development and oversight organizational marketing strategy, digital marketing & sales, e-commerce, branding, social media, marketing and corporate communications, marketing research, and business intelligence. Former experience in an entrepreneurial environment is highly appreciated.

  • Completing highly complex, long-term projects involving multiple disciplines or divisions to ensure strategic goals and corporate vision are achieved is also required.

  • Executive presence with strong collaboration skills; able to articulate a value proposition and secure buy-in and support from senior executive leadership, peers, and staff

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills including executive presentations to the most senior organization levels

  • Able to synthesize complex information and formulate an aligned approach and plan

  • Able to translate business strategy into a compelling and inspiring "call to action" for employees. Focus on securing and developing the right talent to meet current commitments with an eye to future growth; maintain a bench of highly capable, diverse, and engaged talent with the capability to deliver on growth aspirations.

  • Highly adept at successfully navigating and managing change -- communicates change effectively and completely, role models effective behaviors, builds commitment and overcomes resistance, monitors transition and results

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and SFA

  • Experience working in the Pragmatic model framework.
