Reporting to the VP of Corporate Finance, the Director Strategic Finance is responsible for strategic models and financial analysis of varied business initiatives. Strategic projects may include potential acquisitions, expansion of operations, review of the Company's capital structure, internal optimization initiatives, etc. This role will be heavily focused on creating and maintaining robust and accurate models to capture critical factors for the Company to consider in making strategic decisions. This position will also play a role in the Company's Investor Relations function. This high-visibility role requires close interactions with the senior leadership team as well as other key stakeholders. Company management will look to the Director Strategic Finance as an important resource for strategic insights and thought leadership in these areas.
What We Offer:
$140,000-180,000/year depending on experience. This role is also eligible for a management bonus.

Responsibilities
Directs and conducts critical strategic and investment analysis in support of new programs and campuses, mergers and acquisitions, capital structure and use of funds, and other high visibility projects.Directs activities in financial due diligence, valuation work, and return-on-investment metrics for various opportunities and creates meaningful and professional materials to present prospective investments to Senior Management and the Board of Directors as appropriate.
Supports monthly/quarterly reporting with an eye toward aligning strategic goals with financial and operational metrics, including developing dashboards and other reporting mechanisms.
Directs activity required to prepare financial, operational and statistical data reports for the Board of Directors.
Supports the quarterly and annual earnings/results processes & aggregation and analysis of covering analyst models.
Performs market research and analysis in support of ongoing visibility to peer and competitor performance, and in support of critical investor relationships.
Acts as a liaison between accounting, FP&A and operations groups to ensure access to critical information and to drive efficient and effective management reporting processes related to quarterly earnings.
Provides strategic financial support to the Chief Strategy Officer, CFO and CEO.
Establish/maintain a high-performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metrics.
Recognizes and rewards employee contributions and achievements.

Qualifications
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
MBA, CPA and/or CFA strongly preferred
Minimum five (5) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, or related fields required.
Public company, investment banking, and/or equity analyst experience highly preferred
Merger and Acquisition experience is strongly preferred
Skills
Strong financial modeling skills (Valuation, Accretion/Dilution, Future Trading Analysis, Long-Range Planning, etc.) in MS Excel are required
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required
Ability to thrive and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential
Ability to influence without authority in a matrix organization
Ability to collaborate throughout the organization
Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and achieve results
PeopleSoft, OneStream, and BI tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense) a plus
Abilities

Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
Will require up to 10% of overnight travel.
