Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Ten or more years of project management, product design or related experience needed.

We are seeking a Director, Standards Strategy and Compliance in our Standards Strategy and Architecture organization ("SSA") focused on the Oracle Cloud business portfolio. We prefer this person to work out of the Seattle hub or Oracle HQ location in Redwood Shores. We will consider other locations as well.
In the cloud services space, customers require assurances that cloud services meet certain standards (among other requirements). Tracking these requirements are important for responding to RFPs, communicating offerings to customers, and planning for new or acquired datacenters. The mission of the Standards Strategy and Architecture program ("SSA") is to encourage, coordinate, and facilitate Oracle's engagement in external technical standards setting organizations and related activities to meet business needs.
SSA is extending its information hub to the company's cloud offerings to provide data to multiple parts of the company regarding standards compliance information.
As the Compliance Lead, you will design and develop content for SSA's standards compliance information service for the company's cloud offerings and work with compliance teams, as needed, to develop company best practices and/or strategy for BUs to roll out major standards compliance programs. What will you do as the Cloud Compliance SSA Lead:
Establish and maintain contacts with standards compliance stakeholders across the company.
Determine data requirements, update process, and frequency to gather and share information.
Support the design of the information hub where standards compliance teams (across BUs), sales, and other internal stakeholders can access information
(e.g., the compliance status of products/services; points of contact related to each compliance program (including Oracle representatives involved in the standards development process); and third-party audit reporting across Oracle cloud products and services).
Work with compliance teams to, as needed, to define internal "standard" practices and procedures.
Recommend and justify changes to existing compliance processes.
Join and/or form working groups to define guidelines for standards-based compliance programs across BUs distributed through the standards compliance information service.
What skills we are looking for:
10 years or more experience in compliance/governance program management (related to international standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, sector or national voluntary consensus standards such as AICPA SOC 1 and 2, government standards such as FedRAMP, or using standards to address compliance to regulations such as GDPR) or related experience.
Specific cloud, cybersecurity, and privacy compliance/governance experience, preferably including auditing experience.
Demonstrated leadership and expertise in the development of new processes for managing large-scale compliance programs.
BS or MS degree in a related field such as engineering, computer science, accounting, etc. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
