Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

As a member of CereCore, the Director of Staffing Services is responsible for using a variety of methods to source new talent while also ensuring project delivery for all CereCore consultants providing services to HCA and CereCore external clients. This position is a client-facing role responsible for business development across HCA entities and CereCore external clients with an annual revenue target averaging $20M. This role requires executive presence and communication skills to effectively interface and communicate with HCA leadership for new work requests and is responsible both for delivering existing projects and growing additional revenues within HCA, Parallon, affiliated entities and CereCore clients. This position also serves as the liaison and management of over 150+ consultants currently delivering project work at HCA and external clients. Additional key responsibilities include developing and maintaining positive relationships with key HCA stakeholders including ITG senior leadership, field-based CIOs, and CereCore client leadership. This role will manage resource allocations, maintain and develop new approaches to talent acquisition, and participate in sales opportunities critical to driving profitability and growing the business. Key skill set for this role include, strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, negotiate, and maintain solid relationships within HCA and external clients. Proven team leadership skills and the ability to cultivate a healthy work environment, set direction and motivate a high performance team will be crucial to success.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relations (75%)

  • Provide staffing services for both technical and clinical resources through management of recruiters, onboarding coordinators, and associated processes and tools

  • Work with CereCore leadership to prioritize opportunities, locate new talent, and complete the vetting process to aligning resources with the correct opportunities

  • Build strong relationships with and act as liaison to HCA ITG, Division CIOs, and external clients to align business strategies as necessary

  • Protect and grow client-base in a competitive environment

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for staff, leadership, vendors and clients, resolving conflicts involving scheduling, resources and/or technical issues

  • Collaboratively work with Client Executives, Clients, Vendors and PMs to schedule, staff and deliver services

  • Continuously assess and seek to improve customer satisfaction levels

  • Work across teams and departments to resource projects and meet deadlines

  • Work with team to build client roadmaps and provide clients with updates and information enabling them to make necessary decisions

  • Work with leadership to develop and maintain service catalog

  • Understand client roadmaps and provide solutions that facilitate client needs

  • Evaluate current and emerging tools and technologies and where applicable, make purchasing recommendations and decision.

  • Meet demands of sales opportunities providing resources and services

  • Oversee contract development, review and negotiations

  • Accountable for individual project revenue targets, quality, and performance

  • Work with the leadership team to carry out the vision, mission and goals of CereCore

Administrative/Staff Development (25%)

  • Select and manage the ongoing sourcing of new contract talent with vendor partners

  • Lead, develop and mentor Direct Reports and administrative staff

  • Attract, retain and develop necessary skillsets to service client needs

  • Build high performance team creating an environment consistent with our vision and values

  • Evaluate talent and performance objectives, adjusting to meet deadlines

  • Oversee hiring and training for new employees

  • Management of resource utilization balancing W2 and contracting staff to grow revenues

  • Quarterly Performance Reviews, Staff meetings and 1:1 engagement with staff

  • Maintain a commitment to personal leadership development

  • Adhere to HCA Code of Conduct

  • 5+ years

MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS


  • 3 years management experience in leading teams with proven track record and results (Required)



  • 3 years of sourcing, staffing, and recruiting experience (Required)



  • 3 years of client account management (Required)


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 10 pounds occasionally. Work is an office environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.

This role will work cross-functionally with Parallon leadership, as well as department Directors and Executive Leadership in the field to optimize the organization's daily staffing and to identify processes/areas that will enable the achievement of SSC performance improvement goals. What you will do in this role: * Own/Champion the labor management analysis process including but not limited to productivity and other labor metrics such as Man-hour stats, FTE data, etc. * Assist with design and implementation of offshoring and automation strategic initiatives by working with Corporate and SSC leadership to monitor FTEs and productivity. Also, track and monitor actual performance to plan. * Ensure SSC departments staff appropriately for actual and projected account volumes including developing and monitoring staff scheduling practices. * Review daily productivity data to identify departments that require focus. Work with COO's, CFO, CEO and Department Directors to ensure compliance to productivity goals. * Continually monitor productivity goals to ensure they are appropriate. * Minimize use of overtime, temp labor and other premium labor through management practices. * Analyze business processes to identify potential issues or opportunities for cost savings in labor management and propose solutions to SSC Department Directors and Executive Leadership. * Work closely with HR to ensure best practice in timely and appropriateness of PAF's and requisitions including the timely hiring and training of staff. * Support the SSC departments and Parallon leadership by providing weekly and monthly productivity data analysis. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Accounting or Finance required. * Minimum seven years' experience in related area with two of these years being in a role as a Staffing leader. * Staff management experience which includes in-depth knowledge of staffing metrics. * Experience with mathematical concepts: ratios, productivity, work units, accounts receivables, etc. as well as basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, human resources, and payroll.
