Director, Specialty Compliance and Ethics, Product Strategy, Data Insights and Governance

Walmart Omnichannel Platform and Compliance (OPC) is seeking an outstanding Director of Product Strategy, Data Insights and Governance. The perfect candidate will possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, strategic problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation, backed by a robust background in technology and some compliance experience. Among other things, the OPC team is responsible for ensuring that prohibited and restricted items do not appear on the Walmart website. You will work closely with the Omnichannel and Platform Compliance leadership and Walmart Technology to develop an integrated technology agenda that helps the OPC team achieve its compliance goals. The Director of Product Strategy, Data Insights and Governance will work with a broad range of stakeholders to understand their technology needs, drive prioritization and coordinate across the multiple technology teams that support OPC.

What you'll do…

  • Develop an integrated OPC technology strategy and drive the development of that strategy with the corresponding technology team

  • Establish a governance model to ensure that technology teams deliver against commitments on time and with quality.

  • Oversee the execution of Audit MAPs (Management Action Plans) for the Omnichannel and Platform Compliance Program, ensuring timely completion of all MAPs and issues

  • Act as a liaison between the OPC leadership and the multiple technology/product teams

  • Facilitate the prioritization of all technology requests within the OPC team.

  • Produce reporting for OPC Monthly Business Reviews and Compliance Reviews

  • Lead a high-performing team a high-performing team, fostering a culture of candor, mutual trust, and shared vision, and consistently achieving exceptional results.

  • Identify potential risks and communicate them to leadership promptly.

  • Experience working with product and technology on compliance-related projects.

  • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Process-minded and look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness

  • Effective communication with the ability to interact with senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience creating and producing reporting for executive audiences

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a large scale, complex organization

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

  • Proficiency using technology to implement and monitor controls

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 5 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 7 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 3 years' supervisory experience. 4 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
