Directs, develops and oversees non-clinical administration services supporting the annual goals and objectives for the Service Line including but not limited to Grants and Foundations; Marketing; Information Management; and Planning. Oversees and coordinates new program development and successful implementation. Develops business and clinical assessments of existing services to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion of services.
1.Collaborates with senior leaders to develop annual goals and objectives for a Service Line.
2.Provides oversight and coordination of new program development and successful implementation.
Facilitates project management.
Develops business plans, including: staffing, equipment and other requirements.
Supports Certificate Of Need (CON) application requirements.
Establishes implementation plans, methods of evaluation and follow-up.
3.Develops business and clinical assessments of existing services to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion of services.
Monitors and evaluates performance indicators, including: volume, revenue, expenses, activity statistics, quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, market position, financial performance and resource utilization.
Identifies areas for operational improvement and implements action plans.
Supports the development of annual program budgets.
Identifies and support physician development opportunities.
4.Ensures standardization of resources for multiple administrative disciplines/functions of hospitals across the system.
Coordinates efforts to prioritize and implement program needs.
Standardizes data collection across hospitals.
Participates and supports system-wide committees
Maintains awareness of regulatory guidelines and implications of future regulatory decisions.
Facilitates programmatic changes to continuously remain compliant with regulatory agencies.
5.Participates in vendor negotiations for products and securing capital equipment.
6.Serves as a liaison to Health System departments including Planning, Finance, Facilities, Foundations, Grants, Legal, Managed Care, and Quality Management.
7.Develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; and oversees the development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.
8.Performs related duties, as required.
ADA Essential Functions
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration or related field, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
Minimum of seven (7) years experience including previous supervisory experience and general knowledge of Planning, Marketing, and related Information Management as well as leadership.
Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, required.
