Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Director, Security will manage a large team of internal and vendor security assets responsible for the maintenance, repair, design and installation of security technology, in various corporate and retail environments.

Location: Bentonville, AR (This is not a remote job opportunity, relocation will be required).

About Global Security at Walmart

The Director Security reports directly to the Senior Director, Facility Security and Technology with a mission to provide recommendations and support to leadership in the development of strategic disaster response and recovery processes, global governance, and mitigation projects to reduce company losses and closure times.

What you'll do:

• Lead a large group of subject matter experts focused on mitigating risk to associates, customers and facilities through the installation and maintenance of security technology best practices and monitoring.

• Manage a team of 8 or more direct reports, and up to 40+ technicians.

• Oversees team productivity and effectiveness by leveraging internal associates and external vendor assets to me mission service level agreements.

• Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.

• Provide leadership, strategic input, and management of safety and security programs globally across business lines.

• Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals.

What you'll bring:

• Robust knowledge of security technology

• Experience leading large teams.

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, Human Resources, Law, Risk Management, or related fields, and 5 years' experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, technical services or related area

• OR 7 years' experience in security, project management, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area.

• Excellent customer service and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
