Qorvo is hiring for a Director for SAP Finance. Location preference is Greensboro, NC (HQ), Richardson, TX, or Hillsboro (Portland), OR

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Finance Strategy: Develop and execute the global SAP Finance strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in SAP including integrated systems and Finance processes leveraging Fit To Standard approach

• Success Factor and Reporting/Analytics: Will have additional responsibility of overseeing SAP Success Factor (HR), Power BI and Enterprise Data Warehouse supported reporting/analytics platform.

• Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing SAP team supporting Finance, HR, and reporting. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including business leaders, and IT teams, to understand business requirements and align SAP initiatives with business needs. Effectively communicate the value of SAP solutions and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels

• Best in class service delivery: IT solution delivery leveraging agile methodology focusing on velocity, quality and scalability through a team consisting of both internal resources and third-party AMS suppliers. Oversee the process for the demand intake, prioritization, and delivery of incremental releases of functionality using lean principles. Negotiate delivery priorities with multiple business and/or business solution teams

• Business Transformation: Provide IT leadership and drive successful business transformation of Finance processes from legacy SAP systems to S4 HANA. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the migration roadmap, ensure project timelines are met, and minimize disruptions to business operations

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in SAP technology and best practices. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to drive business value. Develop and own IT standard work processes, role definition, define KPIs, identify areas of improvement, systematic problem solving and a continuous improvement mindset using Lean Principles. Lead in developing and maintaining high quality of IT documentation

• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with SAP solution providers, system integrators, and consultants. Evaluate and select external vendors as needed. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met

• SAP System Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance processes to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity across SAP systems. Develop and implement best practices, standards, and policies for SAP system management

• Budget and Resource Management: Support develop and manage the SAP Finance budget, including forecasting and cost control. Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of SAP Finance initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP system management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

• Experience in leading S4 HANA projects is highly preferred

• In-depth hands-on knowledge of SAP modules, including but not limited to Finance, Controlling, CFIN, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and Sales

• Knowledge of SAP Success Factors and Power BI supported reporting and analytics is highly desirable or should be willing to quickly learn

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

• Excellent communication both written and verbal, and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to effectively interact with senior executives and business leaders

• Big Picture and Strategic Thinker with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions leveraging Fit To Standard and keep the core clean mindset

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

• Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, AMS partners and budget management

• Ability to travel about 25%
