How will you make an impact in this role?

This role will lead Global Treasury Controllership (GTC) functional areas and drive high quality delivery through operationally efficient control processes and system solutions with technical expertise.

The Director is responsible for understanding the treasury products (cash, debt, investment, derivatives, hedging), relevant US GAAP accounting, financial and regulatory reporting requirements, the various operational flows supporting the different technologies and the reporting requirements of treasury products.

In addition to leading the day-to-day responsibilities of the team, the individual is also required to demonstrate a strategic, transformational mindset, and will be expected to drive improvements to yield material process efficiencies and analytical insights to business partners. The individual will also be responsible for designing and maintaining a robust controls and monitoring over the end-to-end processes.

Expectations for this role:

  • Experienced in treasury products - cash, debt, investment, derivatives, and hedging and its related US GAAP requirements.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of Bank Holding Company structures and the regulatory landscape surrounding them. Experienced in optimizing regulatory reporting processes within the context of Bank Holding Companies, such as liquidity regulatory reporting, 2052a, LCR, NSFR

  • Experienced in processing, accounting, and reporting for treasury products.

  • Experienced in designing and implementing process and controls that are aligned with regulator's expectation.

  • Experienced in information systems and/or highly complex routing flows and their impact to downstream systems.

  • Lead documentation of detailed business requirements and scenario-based use-cases for new guidance implementations or guidance updates.

  • Utilize strong data management skills to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of regulatory reports.

  • Be a trusted partner, providing support and consultancy in all treasury related deals and activities.

  • Act as subject-matter expert in responding to inquiries, audits and/or exams from regulators in a timely manner.

  • Working as the point of contact with external regulators, auditors, review and respond to inquiries from external regulators and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop a strong team with the expertise to support treasury transactions and guide managers and analysts to reach their goals and career aspirations.

  • Provide leadership, mentoring and career pathing to Financial Analysts and Managers

  • Drive colleague engagement across levels and support associated initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong accounting background for treasury products - cash, debt, investment, derivates, hedging is required

  • Experience in accounting, reporting & analysis, including understanding of regulatory requirements is required

  • Experience with liquidity regulatory reporting, 2052a, LCR, NSFR plus

  • 9+ years' experience in accounting, reporting and financial analysis. Public accounting experience a plus.

  • Qualified accountant holding a CA, CPA or equivalent degree a plus.

  • Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to understand the linkages across processes transformational approach to process efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Must be a self-starter with ability to drive change and deliver results on multiple time sensitive projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in medium to large-scale projects and successfully drive positive results. Proactive approach in identifying, escalating, reporting, and resolving reporting issues ensuring teams focus on critical activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader of a team or a work product. Strong people leader, self-motivator, driven and enthusiastic.

  • Ability to think strategically, innovatively and to pursue ideas with conviction. Excellent communication & presentation skills to interact effectively with key stakeholders; ability to work across geographies in a matrix structure and deliver on expectations.

  • Be able to build strong relationships and influence others across business partners and people at various levels in the company.

  • Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
