Job Title: Director, Sales Operations

BASIC FUNCTION: The Director of Sales Operations will develop and execute on an analytical framework for decision making regarding market segmentation, sales opportunity valuation, coverage models, and territory deployment. This person is expected to partner with BU Sales Leadership, Sales Finance, and other functional areas within Worldwide Sales Operations to identify market opportunities and drive how ADP executes on its sales strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand industry best practices on customer segmentation and territory coverage, as well as sales force sizing and deployment

  • Determine new ways to segment by assessing overall sales potential, addressable market, and current penetration across various sub-segments

  • Work closely with sales and operations leadership to share coverage and deployment ideas and test relevance through applicable cases

  • Provide credible guidance on both where to deploy roles and in what numbers, including assessing risk of shifts in sales strategy/coverage

  • Partner with inside sales to identify market coverage boundaries between field and telesales

  • Continue to refine and modernize account potential modeling tools to help determine optimal customer coverage and sales quota allocation

  • Develop and deploy sales deployment guidelines to help leaders in making alignment decisions

  • Lead sales territory design process, making recommendations for optimal territory structure across sales roles

  • Partner with sales reporting team to develop standardized territory reporting and drive adoption amongst sales leaders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

  • 4-7 years' experience in a sales operations or analytics organization

  • Consulting experience is a plus (though not required)

The Challenge: We are looking for Regional Director Operations North America HNH who can communicate and translate commercial strategy into operational reality. Regular communication with finance, commercial management, technical marketing, human resources, sales/account management, ICT and customers is critical for gauging progress against goals and expectations both internally and externally. The position in located in Parsippany and is responsible for 3 plants (Belvidere, NJ, Schenectady, NY and Ontario, CA) and warehouses. The HNH Supply Chain requires the management of the supply of straight Vitamins from internal DSM and third party raw materials (managed and non-managed), thus leveraging HNH volumes to improve cost of goods and inventory management. Regional Director Operations North America must be able to communicate and translate commercial strategy into operational reality. Regular communication with finance, commercial management, technical marketing, human resources, sales/account management, ICT and customers is critical for gauging progress against goals and expectations both internally and externally.
