Our ability to quickly ramp up new account executives while enabling peak level performance for all of our sales teams are critical to our success. We are looking for an experienced leader to drive our onboarding and sales coaching programs. Reporting to the VP of Sales Performance and Strategic Programs in the Revenue Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, executing and reporting on all of our sales onboarding and coaching initiatives. Working cross-functionally with our sales leaders, HR, marketing and other revenue operations team, you will equip our new hires with the right knowledge and skill set to be successful at OpenText, while helping the sales manager to improve the performance of their existing teams.
You are great at:
You will work closely with the sales leaders and the other functions of the enablement eco-system to support our sales onboarding and coaching initiatives
You will be responsible for the onboarding curriculum design, implementation, execution and measurement through a blend of virtual and in-person programs aimed at accelerating the time to ramp of our new sales hires
You will work closely with our marketing strategic enablement team and provide them the requirements and the feedback for the courses that are part of the onboarding curriculum
You will drive the operational enablement of our sales teams by providing them with the courses and supporting tools for them to effectively manage their opportunities (SFDC, deal process, A&A, )
You will be responsible, along with HR and the sales managers, for the onboarding flow of new hire starting from their first day at OpenText
You will own the deployment and adoption of our IMPACT sales methodology
You will lead a team of sales coach whose primary mission is to provide performance oriented programs and support to our sales teams
You will have responsibility for our enablement platform, used not only by the onboarding team, but by the rest of the sales enablement eco-system
You will lead a team of enablement professionals whose role is to execute and support all of our onboarding and performance programs
What it takes:
You are passionate about sales enablement and helping sales teams be successful and perform at the best possible level
You have a minimum of 10 years experience in leading sales enablement programs for software companies
You have already successfully executed several onboarding programs and have developed a robust point of view on the key success factors critical to accelerating ramp time for new hires
You excel at building bridges and working cross-functionally with other teams to develop successful enablement programs that provide alignment and focus across all sales supporting functions
You have developed a deep understanding of the sales process and the sales management function, and you have a recognized ability to build relationships and hold meaningful conversations with sales leaders
You have strong strategic and program management skills, and are capable of articulating a vision and the path to realize it
You are data driven and know how to leverage quantitative and qualitative information to produce informed analysis that help you and the leadership teams drive decisions
You are a people leader and know how to manage, coach and grow the people in your teams
You have strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, influencing, team work).
