ROLE SUMMARY

The US RHU/GI franchise (XELJANZ, VELSIPITY, INFLECTRA, and ABRILADA) is one of critical importance to I&I and the future growth for Specialty Care. Velsipity, a priority brand for Pfizer, is a novel S1P receptor modulator that received approval in October 2023 for the treatment of adults with moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis.. Two critical success factors to its continued success are optimizing formulary access and Customer Experience (CX).

The Director, CX and Access Integration is a crucial role that will lead the strategy, design, and launch of best-in-class HCP, office staff, and consumer programs to ensure a seamless customer experience for Velsipity and the RHU/GI portfolio of products. This marketing role reports to the RHU/GI Franchise Access Team Lead and will work closely with the Senior Manager, CX and Access Integration, cross-functional colleagues and external vendors.

Role Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ownership of and responsibility for post-Rx customer journey for HCPs, patients, and office staff

  • Challenge the status quo while driving key metrics around initiation and fulfillment

  • Optimize CX strategies by applying customer insights and translating them into impactful Pfizer-first initiatives

  • Lead training and delivery of CX platforms, working closely with leadership across Field Sales and Access and Reimbursement (DCC, FRM, and PAC teams)

  • Serve as key member of VELSIPITY and XELJANZ Brand Acceleration Teams

  • Partner with HCP and consumer marketers as well as Pfizer Digital, Business Analytics and Insights (BAI), Specialty Access and Solutions (SAS), and Medical

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience required

  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred

  • Extensive cross-functional leadership experience required; prior brand team experience preferred

  • Bold, innovative thinking and ability to challenge norms

  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate these into meaningful strategies and tactics

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to mobilize key stakeholders and engage senior leadership

  • Demonstrated success in navigating complex projects and influencing internal and external business partners to deliver results

  • Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation are essential

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • 10-20% domestic travel for POAs, Congresses, KOL engagements

Work Location Assignment: On Premise

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
