The Director, Retention Marketing is accountable for developing the subscriber retention strategy for the new WarnerMedia streaming app and owns implementation and execution of activities to create an engaged and loyal subscriber base.
Lead the ideation, prioritization, and evaluation of retention campaigns to improve LTV and reinforce the service's brand position
Oversee and execute campaigns and programs from inception through delivery to achieve business objectives
Develop data-driven processes to evaluate ideas and establish metrics to drive ongoing performance measurement/improvement
Analyze data and consumer insights to build roadmaps for testing, measuring, iterating, and scaling retention initiatives
Develop and deliver management reporting materials, reports and presentations
Partner with finance to create and manage campaign budgets
Work closely with acquisition, engagement and partner marketing teams to ensure alignment of campaigns
Collaborate with product, development, design and content to articulate program elements, goals and support needed
Lead, coach and manage subordinate staff
Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience; MBA a plus
10 years' experience developing and driving the strategy of complex digitally focused retention campaigns ideally for a direct to consumer product.
Strong understanding of customer segmentation and how to address different needs of each consumer base
Ability to analyze, interpret data and use insights to inform programs and initiatives
Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels; exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills are a must
Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically
