Scope:

This role will be an integral part of TTM's Global Sales Leadership. This position requires the effective leadership and successful management of a Sales Team in an assigned territory. Primary goal to develop, build and maintain successful partnerships and relationships, achieve revenue goals and deliver exceptional account service to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales revenue goal achievement in region in collaboration with the TTM Business Units

  • Responsible for managing the Regional Sales Team in your territory

  • Calling on and selling TTM solutions and products to end user customers

  • Assist with tracking and qualifying leads

  • Attend trade shows and give onsite presentations

  • Develop new business customers in assigned territory

  • Managing and maintaining existing accounts and growing new customer base

  • Responsible for ensure utilization of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

  • Weekly and monthly reports, pipeline management and forecasting

  • Plan and conduct training and make joint sales calls with Business Unit partners

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent Customer Satisfaction Skills

  • Experience in business development, negotiation, and closing business

  • Computer proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skill

  • Detail oriented with strong follow-up and follow-through

  • Great organizational skills and ability to multi-task

  • Must be self-motivated, quick learner, enthusiastic, professional, and have a positive attitude

  • Enthusiasm for improving way Sales Professionals sell, present and communicate

  • Ability to travel 60% +

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years of Sales Management experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience

Export Statement:

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

This Director will work closely with the Assistant VP for Regional Programs in LA as well as additional program staff in that office and will report to the Executive Director of Regional Advancement on campus. This Director will help lay the foundation for our upcoming Capital Campaign by building and executing a pipeline of our wealthiest prospects in the Southwest. The core work for this position is to identify, cultivate and solicit gifts from new and current donors with an emphasis on gifts of $100,000 or more. These donors will primarily be from the Southern California area, but travel may include the Southwest more broadly, including Arizona. He or she will engage alumni, parents, and donors in our SULA semester programs and numerous regional events and will collaborate extensively with school and college based colleagues on campus to align donor interests with funding priorities. In addition, the Regional Director will support and facilitate the work of the LA Regional Council, a core group of University ambassadors in the LA region whose primary purpose is to help identify, cultivate and engage key donors and prospects to help the University accomplish its mission.
