The Director of Real Estate Operations and Systems is a strategically oriented champion of all Real Estate processes, programs, and procedures. They are responsible for inter-departmental and cross company collaboration to successfully execute Aaron's GenNext initiative.
Develop and manage teams responsible for building out the process, program management, documentation, store performance analytics, and reporting of all real estate activities.
Lead the collaboration of Store Development project stakeholders including Market Strategy, Construction, Facilities, Store Planning and Design, Legal, and Lease Administration to drive efficiencies and accountability for the GenNext initiative and other real estate activities.
Lead the program development for integrating Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, Omni-Channel, Logistics, etc. into real estate activities.
Responsible for holding GenNext stakeholders accountable for on time deliverables through the store opening and renovation process. Create accountability reporting to easily track milestones and deliverables including store openings.
Assist Store Development stakeholders in executing the company's national real estate strategy by owning the lifecycle management process and systems leveraged for execution.
Identify areas for process improvement; document and implement refined processes to drive scalability.
Lead teams responsible for regular key tracking and status including: GenNext Weekly, GenNext retrospectives, GenNext Store Opening Status, and GenNext Transformation Office
Lead team responsible for GenNext store set up and execution and maintains implementation standards for all new store concepts.
Drive all RE implementations and data to single source of truth data integrity model.
Maintain real estate strategy pipeline deliverables and monthly/quarterly reporting of real estate activity for executive leadership.
Lead team responsible for RE End User Systems including Lifecyle Management Tools (Lucernex) and Real Estate Site Location Tools (TAS Online/Mobile).
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or other related field or comparable work experience.
7-10 years of relevant job experience in a commercial real estate environment, corporate retail real estate experience or project management experience preferred.
Expert in real estate principles and practices.
2-5 years of managing and developing teams
Process creation and management.
Strong communication and detail-oriented skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products, including PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Needs assessment and assimilating new business concepts.
Comprehend and interpret real estate related language.
High level of analytical and quantitative skills.
