Job Description: Quoting is one of the most critical functions that augment our sales efforts to secure contracts. As the Director of Quoting Operations, your role will ensure that quoting remains a key strategic and competitive lever for our team. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and with some of the most innovative brands across aerospace & defense, medical devices, automotive, consumer electronics and industrial sector. This is a highly visible role with tremendous potential for career advancement and growth.
Responsibilities:

  • Turn quoting operations into a strategic and competitive lever for GTM team
  • Ensure all outgoing quotes are fast, accurate, and competitive
  • Hire and grow a team of highly motivated professionals who thrive to win
  • Develop best practices for program-level and transactional-level pricing
  • Build a knowledge base of competitor profiles, playbooks, and win strategies
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Factory Production leadership to iterate, refine and/or reimagine the customer journey workflows

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience leading teams and building robust processes
  • Data-driven leader with a bias towards action, results, and impact
  • Hands-on experience working with modern tools and applications eg: Salesforce, Pardot, Zendesk,Trello, Zapier, MS Excel, etc
  • Quick learner with an uncanny ability to adapt to changing company and market conditions
  • In-depth understanding of the psychology of why and how customers buy products & services
  • Track record in cross-functional collaboration and change management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a pricing operations role would be a huge plus

The Director, Revenue Operations will be a key leader for the accounting department of a recently minted public company. This position will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for the revenue and inventory functions. The Director of Revenue will play an integral role for process improvement, system implementations and optimizations, and standardizing internal control processes. A successful candidate will be a hands-on and detailed oriented leader, with strong organization, management and communication skills. This position is based in San Francisco, CA and will be reporting to the VP Corporate Controller. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee revenue accounting, revenue operations, month end close, credit card processing and reporting * Identify, scope and drive critical projects to enhance the global order-to-cash and revenue accounting processes * Monitor relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure revenue recognition policies and procedures are in compliance * Work closely with other functional groups to drive improvement in the revenue recognition and order to cash cycle * Lead technical accounting discussions relating to revenue recognition and be the subject matter expert to drive matters to conclusion. * Manage all revenue recognition matters with the external audit firm for quarterly reviews and annual audits * Develop and maintain SOX internal controls over financial reporting in the Order to Cash business cycle. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance. * Certified Public Accountant (active status) required. * 10+ years of proven successful experience in accounting with a minimum of 5 years in a director level position with a Public Company. * Strong working knowledge of US GAAP technical accounting and business matters. * Polished communication skills with an ability to listen to the needs of the business, comprehend complex matters, and articulate issues in a clear and concise manner. Makes the complex simple. * Aptitude for working well within a team and the ability to influence, mentor, and leverage the skills of others to achieve objectives. * Ability to manage large-scale projects across multiple functional areas, influencing stakeholders and driving results.
