The Role

The Director, Vault Quality Solutions Strategy role requires a deep understanding of the global life sciences quality and manufacturing space and the associated applications including quality content management and QMS. This role will be responsible for growing Veeva's quality market in the pharma/biotech space. In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to work with a team of Life Sciences industry and technology A-players, who, together, are bringing the next generation of quality applications and capabilities to the life sciences industry.

Position is remote, additional locations can be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for growing and sustaining the market for the Vault Quality applications including quality content management and QMS.

  • Provide thought leadership and direction to field-facing teams including creating and maintaining relationships with quality executive leadership.

  • Provide business and technology guidance to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality in quality applications

  • Develop strategy and messaging for customer adoption of quality solutions for new and existing customer base

  • Coordinate resources across the customer lifecycle from sales to delivery and beyond.

  • Serve as an evangelist in the quality space by presenting at industry conferences, leading webinars, and authoring content for industry publications.

  • Engage with communities of practice, and manage relationships with partners.


  • Direct experience with GMP's and both quality content management and quality systems processes.

  • 3+ years working or consulting for life sciences companies in the Quality space

  • 3+ years experience working directly with QMS and quality content management technologies

  • Proven ability to innovate across business processes and technology solutions.

  • Ability to hold meaningful conversations with heads of quality and relevant IT leaders regarding quality applications and their use within multiple functional areas.

  • Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations

The role will be responsible for implementing the strategy put in place by the Head of CPS. The right candidate will be able to develop and execute on a go-to-market strategy, identify trends towards success and recommend pivots on weaknesses. The right candidate will also be able to build and prepare presentations for meetings with key internal constituents supported by strategic and operational initiatives, to achieve desired business goals and objectives through thoughtful interaction with the team, and contributions from senior executives. In this role, you will be responsible for working across many different internal groups and certain client level involvement; including and not limited to the Relationship Managers ; SPDs and Designated Advisor teams; marketing; financial wellness to ensure we are meeting client deliverables to actively recognize and identifying operational efficiencies, opportunities for growth and innovation, and facilitating strategic discussions with internal stakeholders and senior executives to ensure alignment in strategic vision across the organization. The role will require a person who is capable of cross collaboration; big-picture thinking and can operationalize key initiatives to help rapidly grow our business. Candidates in this role should be able to structure ambiguous problems to provide actionable recommendations, have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, and exhibit leadership qualities to support and develop junior team members. Key Responsibilities: * Define, plan, manage and deliver strategic initiatives and projects related to CPS, with a focus on growth and efficiency. Work with cross functional teams to document, manage on a regular cadence and report on programs. * Work with multiple stakeholder and end user groups to communicate strategy and facilitate collection of feedback and implementation of key initiatives * Maintain a weekly review of status and next steps for CPS plans and engagements across focus and non-focus companies * Involved in ensuring the game plan/project plan/execution plan is being implemented with regular management and check in around success and identifying and flushing out best practices * Through work with Head of CPS identifying and creating scalable processes and solutions * Analyze data to identify opportunities for prospect and corporate client engagement * Think critically about existing work streams and processes; participate in brainstorming and contribute to solution efforts * Assist in producing quality presentations that provide visual storytelling with supporting details for management at various levels * Manage end to end projects across multiple teams and work streams Knowledge and Skills Required: * BS/BA or MBA with experience in financial services or consulting * Strong interpersonal collaboration, communication and team skills including working with cross-functional teams * Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines * Advanced skills in Excel and strong communication/presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint * Detail-oriented yet able to focus on big-picture business unit objectives * Strong project management skills Morgan Stanley New York NY
