The role of the NextGen Core Services Integration Director is to oversee a portfolio of projects by providing leadership, mentoring, governance and best practices to the assigned team. They maintain a broad industry knowledge of project principles and methodologies that can be applied across NextGen Core Services solutions to fulfill contractual obligations.
The Director establishes clear expectations for the performance of the NGCS team and establishes the success criteria of the assigned work. They work closely with Partners, Product Managers, Regional Sales Leaders, and Service Delivery Managers, to deliver upon the solutions defined in the Customer's contract. They influence the delivery strategy and provide methodologies that fulfill defined integration requirements. They are an innovative leader who helps develop and retain the NGCS Integration Service team.
The Director is responsible for applying highly developed and specialized Integration expertise to solve complex, customer business problems, and to inspire confidence and demand for new/additional solutions. The Director works collaboratively to:
Enable and Support the NGCS Integration Services delivery teams to fulfill defined contractual requirements.
Proactively and continuously understand business and industry requirements, anticipate ongoing needs, influence decisions and communicate the value of the NGCS Integration Services team.
They build customer relationships at the highest level to proactively understand the customer's business, anticipate customer problems and needs, recommend solutions, and communicate the value and effectiveness of the NextGen Core Services product.
Understand industry and market solutions trends, and apply those to the process of continuously improving the delivery experience
Participate in the recognition and qualification of new NextGen Core Services opportunities
Contribute to the effectiveness, continuous improvement and maintenance of NextGen Core Services Integration methodologies
Mentor less senior members and participate in the validation of their skills and capabilities
Prioritize and align work with project plans, schedules, changing work demands, and all relevant Company policies, practices, and local legal requirements
Contribute to policy making decisions relative to the future of the NextGen Core Services business, associated processes, methodologies, tools and techniques
Identify and maintain relationships with key internal and external influencers, thought leaders, associations, industry panels, and client and user groups
Lead initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of the NextGen Core Services Integration business to improve overall customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and improve profit margins and delivery cycle time.
Achieve all appropriate business performance objectives; including but not limited to schedule, financial and project objectives to meet or exceed defined P&L targets and project metrics
Experience implementing a wide span of control over a portfolio of projects and ensuring a successful outcome.
Ability to apply portfolio management principles and bring tools, processes and best practices to a broad range of integration opportunities
Contributes to and leads process development, provides cross-functional expertise and influences resource management strategies and objectives
Thorough understanding of the project management approach and the ability to guide project team members in its application

A minimum of 15 years experience leading Field Engineering or Project Management resources delivering highly complex, mission critical networks to Government and Public Safety customers.
An established track record of successfully leading Systems Integration projects and delivering within prescribed design, revenue, profit and customer satisfaction requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in Engineering design, delivery and, acceptance testing, as well as, Project Management skills of monitoring and controlling cost, schedule, resource utilization and cycle time.
Ability to contribute to policy making decisions relative to the future of the NGCS Integration Services business, associated processes, methodologies, tools and techniques
Established track record as a team builder/leader with ability to address organizational boundary challenges. Clearly understands organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies
Ability to work collaboratively and builds relationships with other services professionals, customers, and third parties
Demonstrated ability to travel extensively (50%>) potentially globally
Ability to work independently and maintain accountability to management
Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or other job related degree from an accredited college or university.
Certifications PMP, PfMP, PgMP or demonstrated continuous education credits in the field of Project Management from an accredited provider. Motorola Systems Integration Institute or Motorola SI training courses qualify.
Demonstrated design & implementation familiarity with - Fortigate Firewalls, Extreme Network Switches, HP Computers, Nimble SAN, HP Components, VMWare, MS Windows Server & Active Directory, MS SQL Server, Networking, VDI (VMWare / Horizon)
