License and Certification Qualifications: Must be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.

Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree in related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications:
Five years of leadership, administrative, or data governance experience required. Two years of experience in a leadership position in the information technology field or previous experience implementing master data governance preferred.

Skills Qualifications:
Strong leadership and project management skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating with senior business leaders; excellent organization and human relations skills; ability to establish and foster progressive working relationships with stakeholders and staff to deliver a consistent approach to the planning and execution of business process-driven projects of varying sizes and degrees of complexity; ability to conceptualize abstract models/issues and deliver effective solutions to stakeholders; ability to think strategically with appropriate level of detail analysis to plan and execute; ability to execute continuous quality improvements; experience with all facets of data management including data architecture and modeling, data quality, data warehousing, business intelligence, and metadata management; knowledge of data quality and governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection; and experience with master data management/integration elements preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
Define and implement enterprise data management strategies and management processes to effectively govern enterprise data including the establishment of enterprise data governance, operating model, data policies and standards as well as the implementation of clearly defined data management definitions.
1.Ensure best practices are established and maintained for all key business intelligence and data management procedures, architecture, and standards.
2.Facilitate master data governance for company initiatives and business transformation programs to drive innovation and customer needs, while improving operational performance.
3.Direct and follow established policies, processes, and procedures for the organization and promote data governance best practices across the district.
4.Oversee the implementation of a new information architecture, workflow, and requirements to ensure business outcomes are achieved.
5.Track and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of key project deliverables and serve as the point of escalation for team members when there are roadblocks, issues, risks that cannot be resolved without intervention.
6.Manage the quality improvement processes of the information architecture to accelerate business innovation and agility with data integrity.
7.Ensure the risk and compliance data meets following characteristics, including but not limited to: accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevance, and completeness.
8.Lead efforts to define data policies, standards, and practices to achieve the required level of consistency, quality, and protection to meet overall business needs.
9.On-board business functions within the Data Governance platform with the purpose of governing critical information assets.
10. Monitor data quality, identify data quality issues, oversee remediation plans, implementation of data controls, and manage data quality remediation strategies.
11. Support the Chief Data Officer in the planning and development of enterprise data governance strategy in support of the district's mission, goals, and objectives.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities: Input data into the Student Information System (SIS) and related applications, ensure data quality with the support of local school administration, and create and execute queries of, and provide data and reports from the SIS to local school staff, central office staff, and schools outside of the district. 1. Process student enrollments and withdrawals in support of the registration process. 2. Retrieve information from GUIDE for enrollment of students. 3. Update student data in SIS such as demographic, health, contact information, special programs, services, and other data fields. 4. Enter student course history information from out of district transfers after transcription. 5. Process information requests accurately and quickly as assigned. 6. Facilitate data gathering, data entry, and data accuracy for graduation cohort, withdrawal reasons, CCRPI, and other such national, state, and local reporting. 7. Assist in maintaining accurate discipline and attendance data including running daily attendance report and/or period attendance. 8. Provide assistance as needed for the scheduling process including, but not limited, to creating student schedules and maintaining the master schedule ensuring that course requests, including special populations (EL, Special Ed, Gifted, AP, etc.) are accurately recorded. 9. Assist in maintaining accurate school data (i.e. discipline, attendance, etc.). 10. Maintain familiarity with job-related software applications and attend district training. 11. Collaborate with other technology specialists to determine and resolve any issues relating to the data in the SIS. 12. Perform other duties as assigned.
