Job Description

As the Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sustainable performance of a $40+ million P&L encompassing the Manufacturing Operations Management business in the Americas. The position reports to the Director Professional Services, NA - Cyber, Digital, MOM. In this role, you would be expected to thrive in a dynamic environment and lead a wide variety of resources in engineering, solution, functional and recipe consulting, program/project management and delivery roles across North America. The role will also involve collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including regional teams, senior management, clients, and commercial selling. Candidate must excel in managing financial plans, execution plans to deliver short to mid-term growth balanced in developing strategies to support sustainable long-term growth supporting business & people strategies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market share in the North America region.

  • Operate within the global strategy and regionalization framework of Cyber, Digital, MOM.

  • Accountable for achievement of the regional Annual Operating Plan (strategic priority execution, regional revenue performance, plus OE across regional P&L).

  • Align with the leadership on growth targets, organization design, scale delivery capacity strategies so business growth / priority hiring needs / growth plans as targets / milestones are achieved.

  • Provides commercial leadership around project risk assessment and mitigation, margin and profitability, and negotiation planning.

  • Responsible for ensuring effective collaboration across Americas sales and marketing, Rockwell Automation Business Units, delivery, and the Rockwell Automation (RA) PartnerNetwork.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

  • Develop and execute workforce plan including critical role identification, succession planning and employee development plans.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance their skills and drive continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as human resources, marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business objectives.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote the organization's products and services.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging market opportunities to make informed business decisions and provide strategic insights.

The Essentials

  • You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred

  • You Might Also Have:
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • 10+ years of business management experience

  • Cross functional experience: Sales, Marketing, Partner Management, Business Management, Engineering, Project/Program Delivery.

  • Previous experience managing a business in the range of greater $25M USD.

  • Proven experience in fostering strong relationships with sales leadership to align key areas for mutual growth and drive accountability.

  • Proven experience in negotiating partnership agreements with customers, suppliers, and service providers.

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, in addition to influence stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge and experience across diverse set of industries; Consumer Packaged Goods, Lifesciences, Auto, Tire and Discrete.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

  • Previous experience in managing geographically dispersed teams.
