Responsible for the in-service training and professional development efforts for brand materials, including overseeing developing teacher training/development courses to increase the effectiveness of training, building customer relationships and contributing to the overall increase in the use of the materials.
Recruit, onboard, and facilitate the training of new consultants (FOSS, FLEX)
Oversee lead consultants and per diems across the curriculum content areas
Expand internal delivery of PD strategies and best practices across the curriculum content areas
Develop and expand for-fee PD across curriculum content area.
Coordinate with Director of Pre-Sales Strategy and Product Development to align sales tools for said for-fee PD.
Develop and implement an adult learning program for continued training of current content area consultants focusing on how to provide high-quality professional development
Lead efforts to help customers identify funding resources for professional development
PD planning conduit to strategic districts, working to develop long-term PD plans for large-scale implementations
Provide field support as needed for large implementations.
Collect data and feedback from identified districts for case studies. Work closely with marketing to create and develop the case studies across different states and standard sets.
Through customer facing PL and interactions with post-sales consultants, collect ongoing product feedback. Review product feedback with RSMs and coordinate touch points with product development.
Facilitate and oversee standard alignment in individual states.
Collaborate with the Lawrence Hall of Science to ensure that consistent best practices are being performed during field implementations i.e. consistent implementation model, help to facilitate proper communication between reps, consultants, and customers, conduct implementation checks based upon training rubric (with input from LHS)
Work with sales team to expand implementations of current users through increased teacher training on the materials
Work with sales managers to assess and coordinate per diem consultant needs and quality
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on tradeshow and workshop efforts surrounding PD opportunities
Primary long-term responsibilities will focus on developing National Teacher Training workshops and representation at national, state and regional conferences to support sales.
Work with brand authors to tailor curriculum into professional development courses
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or Education preferred
At least 8 years experience in servicing or sales to the K-8 market
Acceptable driving record, valid drivers license and insurance program compliant automobile
