The Director Professional Practice reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Provides planning, direction, coordination, management and supervision of Professional Practice Team. Scope of services includes staff education, clinical simulation, student experiences, nursing research, nursing peer review, library services, patient care policy and procedure and patient education. Internal consultant to organization on development and implementation of clinical education curriculum, learning interventions, policies and procedures, clinical certification and accreditation processes. Partner with other non-clinical education managers in developing and implementing system learning agenda. Description
Required: - DNP or PhD in nursing or related field
Masters or Baccalaureate degree in nursing
Five years experience in patient care
Minimum five years of management experience in acute care is required
