XR is seeking a product marketing expert to lead product positioning, packaging, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive business growth and establish SpotlightXR as an innovative market leader.

As the Product Marketing lead for SpotlightXR, you work collaboratively across product, sales and marketing to define, create and execute on the Go-to-Market strategy, while developing value-based messaging that aligns with target audiences and supports our suite of solutions and services. This role requires a natural ability to translate technology and services into customer-driven value that differentiates SpotlightXR in a competitive marketplace.

Our ideal candidate pairs strategic leadership and deep analytical thinking, with a hands-on approach that ensures our teams have the commercial tools they need to sell with confidence and achieve revenue goals. 

Reporting Relationship:

  • This position will report to the President, SpotlightXR with a dotted line relationship to the VP of Product Marketing for XR.

Location:

  • New York preferred with Burbank, CA as an option

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Champion - Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, marketing, customer success and business development to develop product packaging and positioning, and successful go-to-market plans that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Customer Focused - Define market trends and factors impacting our customers and ensure that the voice of the customer is well represented within SpotlightXR’s messaging, marketing and product strategy.
  • Market/Brand Positioning - Partner with XR’s VP of Product Marketing to align SpotlightXR within the larger XR brand, ensuring that we intelligently communicate our story across different industries and customers.
  • Competitor Intelligence - Maintain a firm grasp of the competitive landscape and identify areas of differentiation to support SpotlightXR’s leadership position and leverage intelligence to inform product strategy, pricing and marketing activities.
  • Product Messaging - Define ideal customer profiles and understand audience personas to translate products and services into customer value.
  • Sales Enablement - Identify and create the sales tools and training needed to support core products and services, competitive intelligence and key features / capabilities.
  • Conventional Marketing - Work collaboratively with the broader marketing team to develop SpotlightXR-centric content that supports sales and brand awareness, including videos, presentations, collateral, etc.

*Pursuant to California's Pay Transparency Law the pay range for this position is $161,000-$181,000; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

  • Strong track record in developing and executing product marketing roadmaps within a multi-product environment.
  • Demonstrated experience defining and deploying content creation strategies across product portfolios. Background creating and delivering thought leadership content, including client and keynote presentations.
  • Proven success record of partnering with Growth to drive company revenue.
  • History of designing and implementing a go-to-market strategy and execution plan for products, solutions and portfolios, net new logo business, and whitespace.
  • Pure product marketing experience from the enterprise software, human capital or SaaS sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Operates at a tactical and strategic level.
  • Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing graphically interesting and compelling presentations and collateral. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi and Photoshop a plus.
  • Very strong communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, fast-growing, ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a matrixed environment and across multiple time-zones.
