A lot about you:
The Product Marketing Director, Homepage is responsible for maximizing audience growth and driving membership across the Yahoo.com and AOL.com ecosystem. This leadership role is responsible for executing the overall marketing strategy, specific campaigns, and product communications to drive the positioning and product adoption for Yahoo.com and AOL.com, including sign-up, membership, apps, and subscriptions. This role partners with Product Managers to ensure the voice of the customer is reflected in product strategies, features, and definition. This role partners with Media to drive acquisition and brand awareness through paid and owned & operated channels. They will also partner with Creative teams and agencies to develop creative assets used throughout the user funnel. This role occasionally includes planning user research to understand current users, user needs and identify new growth segments. We are a growth-oriented organization with a heavy focus on conducting and analyzing experiments and then iterating and applying the insights in a consistent and fast-paced loop. Own/refine the product positioning for the Yahoo and AOL brands focusing on the value to our users of being a Yahoo or AOL member
Define the go-to-market strategy and marketing plan and optimize a campaign once in market
Build differentiated value propositions, positioning and messaging, and source customer evidence and 3rd party proof points
Engage and influence internal stakeholders across Product, Media, Editorial, Engineering, and Business PLengineering, finance and business planning, integrated marketing, PR/AR, and sales/field teams
Engage in large complex partnerships
Architect strategy and high profile campaigns, promotions, and content initiatives to achieve key KPIs
Develop a top-of-funnel, multi-channel acquisition strategy and execution plan (paid media, partnerships, display, etc.) that maximizes user acquisition across platforms.
Define an optimal process between Marketing, Audience Development, Social, and Content teams to execute programs needed to drive growth and engagement
BA/BS degree. MBA is strongly preferred.
An expert marketer with 10+ years of digital product marketing experience.
Demonstrated familiarity with sophisticated go-to-market strategies with a focus on platforms, search or technology
Demonstrated track record of executing global marketing programs that drove acquisition,engagement, and retention with proven results.
Experience building frameworks for strategic decisions
Analytical & problem-solving skills to dissect & work through complex challenges
Building trusted relationships across functional groups (Product, Creative, Editorial, Sales etc) including at the executive level
Exceptional communication skills and experience with Executives, Analysts and Press
