Kasasa is researching brand new, category-defining financial products for our community banking partners. We're looking for a passionate & creative, results-driven Product Manager who deeply understands the insurance space, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
The Director of Product Management, an integral member of the Product Team, will have responsibility for insurance product(s) exploration, strategy, and development. This Director of Product Management's key responsibilities will include:
Partnering with Product Leadership to define overall strategy and product/service requirements.
Formulating business plans, competitive analysis, and product development strategies and rollout.
Working cross-functionally, acting as the voice of the product and of the consumer, clearly articulating business value and perspective to the various teams and ensuring execution on deliverables.
Maximizing product line revenue, market share, profit margins, and key KPIs.
The role requires insurance industry experience, financial industry knowledge, cross-functional leadership skills, marketing understanding, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive to outcomes that are significant for Kasasa, our clients, and their consumers.
Lead market research initiatives and develop business cases and market analysis for future product development.
Ability to build a roadmap from vision backward to today, complete with full defense of an ROI-producing market-based justification and a proforma.
Indirectly oversee all aspects financial, sales, operations, and support of the product from concept to general availability.
Deliver target ROI set by Executive Management for your products, with key focus on retaining existing client base, driving new revenue, and reducing costs to support on an ongoing basis.
Develop strategies to create increased value to our institutions by further leveraging our current products and data sets.
Translate corporate strategic vision into actionable product initiatives within your product set.
Have a strong ecosystem focus when planning product strategy. Our solutions do not work in isolation. In this role, you should be able to work with technology and other product managers to develop your product enhancements and strategies.
Subject Matter Expertise: You understand your product and the broader industry better than anyone in the company.
5+ years of Product Management or relevant experience
Deep knowledge or experience with insurance is a must
A track record of successful product launches from inception to launch, including proven experience building business plans and ROI models
Experience working with cross-functionally with multiple internal/external teams, including Executives, Engineers, Sales, and Business Partners
Exceptional communication skills, organizational and analytical skills
